Snapshot 1.0.303.32 - Beta Candidate
-
It could mean that the mail client won't ship until sometime during the development of the next version, which would be the version built on top of the Chromium 46 engine.

Thanks for the constant updates!
I've been encountering this issue since build 300, that whenever I try to play my playlists on YouTube it'll give me an error message and will only load when I refresh it, rendering the continuous play on YT useless. It only happens when I play the playlists I created though. Using this latest build on OS X El Capitan.

thank you

unfortunately i had to back to the previous build because the browser weren't load so well and the cpu % gets very high to load the software

Yeah. Not quite ready for Beta. At minimum, you need to fix the non-working scroll bar with vertical tab overflow.
-
Editing any experimental feature - any single one…causes crashing and unusable browser. Deleting 'local state' file rectifies matters. I rather like having the mute tab option available from experiments. They actually worked as of only a few builds ago.
The way the page draws and redraws at browser launch looks rather lame - like an old tube television starting up with a small picture in the middle and then expanding to fill the screen.
A way to switch off annoyances like password prompts and geo prompts would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in prompting someone to actually want to use the browser as a mainstay. Thanks.

I might be misunderstanding the setting but the Bookmark Display settings don't seem to work. It doesn't matter which setting I choose, the Bookmark Bar always shows Text and Icons even after multiple restarts of the browser.

If it is beta candidate it means that core features (configurable mouse gestures with flips and earlier missing commands), mail client, built-in news reader are there? If not this is still early alpha, DON'T GO CHROPERA WAY, DON'T CALL IT RELEASE UNTIL IT IS READY TO BE RELEASED

Summary: mouse wheel does not change tab in "recently used" order
Key: VB-10142Summary: backspace do not work as "go back" anymore
Key: VB-10141Summary: panel toggle bug - white space
Key: VB-9951Summary: can't access vivaldi://plugins by typing it
Key: VB-10056
(actually it's " vivaldi:plugins" since " vivaldi://plugins" works)the rest of my reports has no big priority in my head…
all bugs occur with this x32 snapshot under W8.1 x64 -
Not a show-stopper at all, but I think mouse-wheeling through vertical tabs is still not as instant/fluffy as it should be.
-
Entering extension's option (adBlock, etc.) from vivaldi://extensions crushes the browser.

not here…
W8.1 x64 with this x32 build -
I really love the idea of the beta, but please could you check the VB-9113 Bookmarklets are not working bug?
-
Breaking news: Amnesty International are investigating reports of browser programmers chained to their desks in Iceland. Stay tuned for updates.

One thing you still need to really take a look at is the unruly "Top Sites" file.

"Update Error!" has been the result of checking for new updates with any portable build from the last month or so. Running updates the old-fashioned way is easy enough, but is this just a problem here somehow? I haven't seen mention of this lately.
Now that we're getting close to Beta, does that mean there's going to be a Beta update channel for those who may not want to live on the bleeding edge but would like to periodically receive stable-ish betas? I think having more settled builds to run will bring more people into the tent. I hope it's not going to be one Beta and then (say) another six months of only snapshots.

Try Shift+CTRL+Wheel

First it was a long shot trying Vivaldi, but I'm getting more and more excited.
Thanks a lot from a former Opera user since 3.72!Unfortunately there are two downers I want to mention (if it hasn't been done by anyone else so far):
1. Maybe I'm the only one who works with windows, having the task bar at the top of the screen, hiding if not used. Cos if you do so, and Vivaldi is maximised, you have no chance reaching either the task bar or the Windows button in the bottom left of the screen. Putting the mouse pointer on top or bottom left of the screen causes - nothing.
2. On Microsoft Surface Pro 3 it is impossible to zoom using the touchpad. Thunderbird and some other programs I use are able to do so.
