Snapshot 1.0.252.3 - Typed history dropdown, more polish on Web-panels and Extensions… and smooth scrolling
-
We're working on an update to this, most likely in the next snapshot. (contrast)
-
BUG: opening of a site from "History" Dial does not work. If however close and re-open the browser - the tabs appear in my tab bar.
confirmed on w64: the History list, simply doesn't work: no link will be opened, when clicked. Nothing happens.
-
Page tiling is not working yet? My button is not clickable…
Win8.1/x64, Vivaldi x32 -
BUGS:
-open few single pages and at least one tab stack
-right click tab stack, select close tab stack
-all single pages closes BUT not the stack I wanted! Now, you have only the stack there, open new tab (or restore just closed ones) and try to move single page/tab to the left side of the stacks. Nope, it won't stay there.
-
Really gone, unfortunately.
In the most times, when I try use CTRL+C and CTRL+V, Vivaldi insists in not working… Paste name of the one folder of the bookmarks instead the link of page I copied... and then... that folder gone with all the links... sadness...
Sorry for my poor english...:) -
I don't know which snapshot introduced this, but I think the sound icon on the tab title is superb. Because it's an animated icon, it's much more noticeable than a static icon. It's a super useful little feature.
-
Ehrm, is there a way to disable the dropdown URL bar history?
Unless there is a private tab/window function I would like to let this feature slip and look into it later.
Because of reasons… if you know what I mean. -
Bug (1.0.252.3; 32-Bit; Windows 7): When entering a search keyword without an argument Vivaldi should send that keyword as an argument to the standard search engine (the corresponding search page is opened instead with nothing to search for).
EDIT: One additional bug: When clicking on the trash bin the last closed page is re-opened immediately without showing the other trash bin entries. To access that menu the LMB has to stay pressed until the entry in the trash menu is hovered.
-
I think it only works with tabs that are in a tab stack.
-
I see. Thanks
-
Your work on this browser has been really impressing!
Could you make the mini/maximize and close buttons hide as they do in Microsoft Edge?
Possible bug: I'm not sure whether this is the fault of Vivaldi, but the drawing look-up function doesn't work on this site: http://jisho.org/
-
You can select the tabs you want to tile (Ctrl+Left Mouse button). You don't have to use a stack.
-
The Draw function works on opensuse; 64Bit.
-
I can't say if it is this Vivaldi build or the new Windows preview buld 10525 but I have the "double taskbar icon problem".
-
-
Happened to me too with the last update, I had to unpin the original icon while Vivaldi was open and pin it again. If I closed Vivaldi and unpinned it I still had the two icons.
-
Great to see that you're working on fixing extension issues. Sadly, Xmarks is still not working, so I'll keep on waiting for a fix soon.
Thanks and keep up the good work. -
One thing I've been impressed with is how well fonts render. I've been having trouble with reading fonts in Opera and Chrome because they're so narrow and pixelated, but in Vivaldi, letters are just thick enough and rounded enough to be easy on my rapidly aging eyes.
-
This is the best version so far. Especially addition of web panels was big enhancement for me. Having said that VB-7765 still has not been resolved, so I still can not use Vivaldi at work. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
-
Works perfectly fine for me. I'm using Vivaldi 64-bits on Windows 7 x64.
Since it works for me, it is most likely an issue with your computer and Vivaldi rather than with jisho.org
What OS are you running it, and what version of Vivaldi? Give developers more details so they can investigate faster.
