The countdown begins to Monday morning and I can imagine so many of us rabid Vivaldi users around the world sitting on the edge of our seats salivating to find out what new things the devs have for us. I now have it on all my machines around the house (kids and wifey's - plus other family members - machines will come later once more stable). And I have even more appreciation for Vivaldi's flat chrome since upgrading all desktops in my house to W10: the interfaces of the OS and Vivaldi match so well.
-
"…rabid Vivaldi users...?" I BEG your pardon! (excuse me while I dab some of this foam from my lips) We are rational, patient users, who just want every promise ever made by the developers to have been kept yesterday. How could you characterize us as "rabid?"
 -
LOL … "foam". You see, you are in the last stages. Don't worry, the antidote may be close at hand.

Must be 8th time today I came here looking for a new wonder.
There is an annoying issue I'd like to report although I must admit I did not put enough effort into finding out if it's known already, but I would hate it to go unnoticed. I'm sorry for being such an egoistic ignorant bastard.
BUG:
when on speed dial, if you hold ctrl and click on any speed dial page, it should open it in new background tab (same as middle mouse click), instead sometimes (I've yet to find a way to reproduce it on purpose) it just opens it in current active tab, like there would be no ctrl pressed.
(this is annoying as I'm used to open multiple pages from speed dial when I get to computer and I hate to open new tab for every page I want to visit. While middle mouse button is a workaround, sometimes I'm forced to use touch pad where there is no middle button)This does not happen always, about 30% of a time when I open Vivaldi. I did not try it with new profile.
I'm on 64 bit arch linux at the moment but I think it also used to happen on 64bit windows 7 and windows 10.
I'd love to provide further information if needed. -
Hi,
Spatial navigation have never work for me.
First, i 've thougt it was a bug that would be fixed one day so i've waited. Several versions have been released with correction in the release note but nothing change for me. So i made a try with a new profile : it works.
By dichotomy in my Preferences file, i 've found that if i never accept cookies the spatial navigation is disabled.
I don't see the relation between them, is it normal to have to accept cookies to use spatial navigation ?"default_content_setting_values": { "cookies": 2 --> spatial navigation disabled }
-
Noticed this one too but I thougth this is just because of slow reaction occurence rate drops down close to 0% if you press ctrl half a second before clicking the link. a bit dull but this worked for me. so i guess when Vivaldi will increase speed, this bug will disapear

Please, let today be the day!

I'm not sure when the end of the work day is in norway, but it's past 5pm there now. Tomorrow, hopefully.
