Thank you! for the latest snapshot! It looks like Spatial Navigation works again!

      Strange but true/bug or feature?

I believe that I have discovered SpeedDial Stacking! 😃

SpeedDial Stacking apparently works in a similar manner as Tab Stacking: drag any SpeedDial tab and (oops!) drop it onto any other SpeedDial tab.

'Dial Stacking is just as finicky as Tab Stacking without click-select so you have to drop the 'Dial 'just right' or 'just wrong' before it will stack.

There are three main drawbacks to Stacked 'Dials in the current snapshot:
The text titles get garbled and intermingled
There is no popup graphic for the individual 'Dials
There is no way to select one stacked 'Dial so you can't pick the page that opens

      On the bonus side:
It's very difficult to stack 'Dials
You can drag a stacked 'Dial off of/out of the stack and place it anywhere on the SpeedDial page

Unfixed bugs: Bookmark and Note editors are still broken.

      Logjam attack:-

Another nice snapshot. Thanks for the update, I'm looking forward to the beta arriving soon.

By the way, is it only me that has Vivaldi crashing when trying to view an SSL certificate information?

It didn't get fixed and started offering the Edit button for all Comments below this Comment but not the ones above it.

Some isseus regarding UI resizing, I usually make the whole ui like 70%

            • Context menu's are out of place when right clicking on tabs, also it does not seem to take in account that the tabs are on the bottom.
            • Site options menu is out of place, also it does not seem to take in account that the address bar is on the bottom and opens the options out of screen.
            • Tab stacking goes really weird when having a resized ui, stacks/tabs are dissappearing and such. And it is impossible to place tabs in the blank spot that was caused by this until a restart of Vivaldi.

Don't believe there is officially any such thing as dial stacking. What there is, is folders to put dials in. When you "stack" two dials, technically, it should create a folder.

I didn't believe it was intentional but it didn't create a folder, it stacked the SpeedDials and mingled them together with no SD image or popups. At least it didn't try to blend the two images and create one image, that would have been ugly. 😃

It is a known issue: VB-6876 - if you have a Settings window opened, closed pages try to re-open from Trash into Settings window. If you reopen one page like this, even after closing Settings window, the pages will not be reopening.

Why do you actually bother about the naming? If the TP4 build with all same functionalities would be instead named Beta 1, would it be any better build and would make any difference to you?

While on the other hand, consider that naming this build TP4 means a promise that there is still more new cool stuff to come. 🙂 After a second thought, which option do you like more? 😉

I think there is no bug here. You need to run as admin only for All Users install, as otherwise installer would have not enough system privileges to modify other users' folders.
I believe that Current User and Standalone install work as expected - without asking for admin rights.

DEADLY!!! I am one with accessibility issues and I can use the ALT key to enable mouse gestures. I could not use MG before the ALT trigger. It's going to make browsing easier. Thank you very much! Perceptive call by wardies too.

Vivaldi is unable to handle some protocols properly. For example, it adds /// to "mailto:[email protected]", so it's passed as "mailto:///[email protected]" to the e-mail client. Something similar happens with magnet links.

                                      Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

I use the side panel and speed dial a lot. So I just want to give my feedback to help.

                                        1. When you create a new folder in speed dial via the '+' sign on top, it will also save into the bookmark side panel. However, it does not remove, and also remain the same, if you remove it from Speed dial via right click remove.

                                        2. The number indicator beside the bookmarks folder is too hard to see. It's light grey behind a white background. Needs to be more obvious.

Some things that I feel (personal preferences) are needed in the browser.

                                        1. Needs to reduce the gap on top of the tab. This is great for small screen and increase real estate.

                                        2. The menu button on top left can be put into the address bar panel somewhere. Again, This is to increase real estate.

                                        3. Ability to set title in notes.
