Snapshot 1.0.167.2. Better keyboard-shortcut editing and user statistics
-
not referring to width, but height. I've sorted my bookmarks inside sub folders of folders on the bookmark bar. So theres hundreds of bookmarks inside these folders
-
Thanks… that's a relief...
and Jon... Your continuous involvement in the development of Vivaldi gives us all hope... I wish you would keep this quality of yours to the end...
-
Confirmed.
-
Yeah, I do, but with more space is much, much better! I hope they implement the two ways, for the joy of all users.
-
Het, this is just great, davenothere! Let's see what happens in a near future.
-
Also, there seems to be provisions for a full bookmark window at vivaldi://bookmarks/ (found at vivaldi://vivaldi-urls) but for me that's empty and doesn't show my current bookmarks.
-
Nice! Goodluck!
-
Ah, good to know. Thanks
-
What on earth had devs done in build 1.0.167.2! A number of vivaldi://chrome/ URLS which previously worked now crash Vivaldi with a segmentation fault. Example error:
ERROR: Unknown_form_field_data.cc(169) Unknown FormFieldData pickle version 6 -
"New tab" is fixed internally already. Will be working in next snapshot.
-
Not seeing any crashes over here. Can you name a particular URL that's affected for you?
-
Starting with clean profile when you test?
-
Same here press ESC and it will go away bot its annoying interesting as well Facebook is hanging …
-
Try these which worked in previous build (Linux):
vivaldi://chrome/settings/clearBrowserData
vivaldi://chrome/settings/content
vivaldi://chrome/settings/contentExceptions#cookiesAlso, As I have pointed out in a previous post, from Speed Dial History>Clear browsing data results in a crash (segmentation fault.)
-
Just tried all 3 URLs on my 1.0.167.2 on Win7. Working fine, no crashes here. Maybe just on Linux???
-
Thanks. We have a very good group here and we are all very much focused on giving you just what you want. Thanks for your support!
Cheers,
Jon. -
Maybe. I am seeing it on Linux 32bit and 64bit. Can any other Linux users test please.
Simplest test: from Speed Dial click History>Clear browsing data. Does this crash Vivaldi for you? -
You can also manage your bookmarks in a full page from the speed dial tab.
-
Ayespy is trying to point out that you're barking up the wrong tree.
Think about it the following way: Some cars attract police officers because they are typically driven by younger drivers. If you get stopped by the police now, would you notify the manufacturer of your car?I was thinking that there was nothing wrong informing Vivaldi. If I wrote a program and it got flagged I'd at least like to be informed of it so I could try and find out why, regardless if I could do much about it. Is that making sense?
-
Thanks, but don't waste your time for this. I am not interested in customising it.
I am suggesting that it should be in the logical order by default.
