VB-4772
-
Depends on your browser window's aspect ratio. It's a known bug.
-
I really wish Vivaldi employees would place a small "V" in their avatars so that we could recognize them while interacting with others…
it really helps when talking about bugs...We already know Olli and Jon but not all the other employees are as easily recognizable as them ! (Olafur's face has it's own signature : funny... and scary ! or maybe disappointed ! or even Skeptic ! I don't know ! it's hard to tell !):D

Totally agreed. I suggested that some time ago. Tracked as VB-3395.
-
Affirmative: Mouse gestures are not working on Linux - this is my most dearly wanted feature.
-
Thank you, Olli!

+1

+100. I want that!
-
That would be helpful.

When we mouse over a tab stack I would like to be able to click on a preview and have the page load BUT the previews don't disappear till I move the mouse off the previews. That way it would be so fast to look at each page in the stack. We would not have to move the mouse back up to the tab to access a new page in the stack.

big +.
I had to read it twice to get your point but sure, you are right. Tab preview should not disappear even when click on it (to change a page). Only after you move out the cursor from a preview. -
confirmed. W8.1 x64 with x32 build of VB (autodownload, the same setting - do not create a shortcut). Shortcut was created.
Anyway, it should not create a shortcut at all when (auto)updating (even if marked in 1st install to do so) since shortcut is already there or not. If yes, do not delete it. If no, do not create it.

bug: in a page (https://my.xmarks.com) Vivaldi does not remind the place of a pop up that shows details about URLs, see below the screenshot about the page where you can see the correct place in another browser, in this case IE but any browser is the same. but Vivaldi do not remember the choice and correct place, and it is placing the pop up at the beginning of the page covering the core of the page.

They've been quite busy. I'm sure they just haven't decided at this point whether to prioritize this particular customization or not. I've been waiting longer to have the option to put bookmarks bar vertical at the side (ie since the day the bookmarks bar appeared) than you have to get your tabs moved next to the page, and I'm not grumpy about it. I'm pretty sure it will happen, but I realize every single request (there have been hundreds of them) can't receive immediate attention.

bugs on downloads sections ..
when you downloads it is unstopable….
on button it is should be start and pause. to cancel should have the close X buttons..
should have estimated time remaining and percent to be downloads it.
and on setting should have the filechooser buttons to select different folder or places. -
yes, the context menu appears on mouse down which makes mouse gestures impossible to use
glad you will look into this as this is really my main thing i want from a browser -
I too Dig this ! it'd be really helpful…
Concentrating on the ease of use and fast access to every part of Vivaldi, this should be considered in the following releases...
Tab Thumbnails are good but Vivaldi could make more use of them... something like what "g_bartsch" suggested.... -
Not sure this is already doable…
After a crash would be nice a prompt window on the next launch showing last tabs left open with a check/un-check next to the pages in order to switch off the tab that caused the crash (as in FF session manager). -
OKey… Here's the Performance issues demonstration I'm always talking about... take a look at this GIF:
Performance Issues GIFyou can see several issues here :
1. Tab Title not changing unless clicked on.
2. Very Slow reaction time after clicking on the tab (you can see the click event by the yellow circle it makes)
3. Clicking on the Panel Trigger is so slow…This is a system I use at work and it's old and slow... but the same problems I'm having here don't apply to ChrOpera (even the very first version : Opera 15). My own system is much more powerful than what I demonstrated but the UIs Sluggish reactions are even present there and since I'm picky about this, I tend to feel the lag from the very first use...
Sorry to bring this issue out over and over again but this time I felt some demonstration could help you pinpoint the problems faster and better.
Thanks for all the great efforts

You do realize that you're testing an alpha version, right?!
You're moaning at a very high level…
