New snapshot 1.0.105.7 - Now with 32 bit Linux
-
Thanks for the new snapshot and the Ctrl + Z, one of those small but really important functions.
Along those lines, I haven't been able to find a keyboard command to open address bar entries in a background tab. Most browsers use (on mac) cmd + enter. I use this function all the time. Can someone please tell me if it exists on Vivaldi? If not, I would love if that were added. Thanks!

Hadn't tested CTRL+Z yet, it's really cool! Thanks for the preview of boomarks bar too.
Now, waiting for Paste&Go, Right-click+Wheel to cycle tabs, native content blocker among my other preferred bugs
Great job devs!EDIT: I'd be ashamed, but what is "Transparent tabs" (in options) ?

Will you enable NPAPI (Netscape) plugins? They are essential on 32bit Linux.
I understand why they were disabled in Blink but I need them! -
First orders of business for the Bookmarks Bar of course will be to allow it to be set at right or left side as well, and permit it to display favicons only, no lablels. First iteration - great!
-
When we can see the mail thing working?
-
BTW, Can you implement middle-click in 'Recent closed tabs' menu? It could be useful!
-
Bookmarks bar, ctrl Z, re-open tabs, cool stuff ! Great job guys !

-
no resume link?!! seriously?
-
Restart profile and it will work.
-
ctrl+z is not working on my windows 7 x64.
Thanks for the bookmarks bar preview and middle click behavior. -
Please add resume download link for this version

I understand why they were disabled in Blink but I need them!I don't know what distro you're using, but if it's Debian based, then you can install pepperflashplugin-nonfree to install the latest PPAPI Flash. Works fine with Vivaldi on my 32bit Debian Wheezy system.
Thanks to the Vivaldi team for bring this 32bit Linux build to test out the browser. So far, it's a bit slow compared to other browsers on my old system (Firefox, SeaMonkey and Chromium work a lot faster), but as this is a snapshot, that's probably to be expected for now. Still, it's great to see this browser finally take some shape, and I'll certainly be giving it a whirl. Thanks.

I hope u are working on adblock for it.
Keep up the goodwork. Thank u.:D:D: -
Said by the dev team: "…bookmark bar. You can place it at the bottom if you like to." In my stand-alone installation, I can't seem to find a way to do this. What am I missing? Setting my own folder for the bar, however, works beautifully!! My main desire now is to be able to just use bookmark names without any icons showing - that will let me view a lot more abbreviated bookmark names on a horizontal bar without scrolling. Otherwise, this puppy is looking better and better with each release!
-
"My main desire now is to be able to just use bookmark names without any icons showing" Yes. The option to show labels only, buttons/icons only, or buttons/icons with labels to the right or below was standard for (I think) all bars in old Opera. We should be able to customize bars in Vivaldi the same way. And if my guesses are any good, that set of options will come.

There's a problem with the bookmark bar. I have the bookmarks bar set to bottom of the page. When i fullscreen a video in youtube the bookmarks bar still stays at the bottom so i can't see the play/pause and volume buttons.
Also, is it possible to access tabs and url bar when vivaldi is full screened or do i have to undo full screen to type in a new url?
Other than that it's working well. Webpages are loading noticeable faster for me after this update.

I was one of those asking for it, so it's normal to say thank you for the 32b Linux build !!!
So now, for the bugs :
- The first and biggest for me, is that no hover is captured : I have the same issue in Popcorn Time, I have to right click so the app know where the mouse is. It doesn't matter for PT, but for Vivaldi, it means no tab preview, no close button on a tab…
- The menu bar is not at the top of the screen. It may be a choice, but it means it's harder to reach it.
- In speed dial, there is no obious way of going up from a folder
- The UI seems sluggish, but I guess it was known.
- When we reopen the last tab, we can't go back to the previous page before the reopened tab is fully loaded. And if we go back, we have to wait the tab is fully loaded to be able to go forward.
- Once I deactivated the image (to only cached images), I wasn't able to reactivate them. (but it seems to work anyway, even if the icon is red)(ok it doesn't work for the tab where I activated it, but for other tab it's ok, even if it's red)
- From the url bar, if tab is pressed, it doesn't go to the search for typing, but to the search engine selector
- Activating a filter is instantaneous, but deactivating it seems to reload the page.
And that's all... for now ;o)

@ Blackbird:
In the settings window, the three positions for the Bookmarks Bar are "top," "bottom," and "off." Is your settings page different?
-
I want to see it also in the history menu, to clone a tab at a previous state !
