Beginning of our great journey

First of all, we would like to thank everyone for downloading Vivaldi browser.
We were very excited about all the positive feedback we've gotten so far.
It has been extremely rewarding few days to get the first Technical preview out of the door and share the birth of what would become a great browser with rest of the community.

Fear the Web I shall not. For my ally is Vivaldi. And a powerful ally it is.

Seven years later, this is an amazing post to look back on.

What am i missing? Where are all the posts? There should be many hundreds if not into the thousands of them? Did they all get lost in the original version of the forum software & not migrate along with all the changes? It would have been nice to reminisce...

TechCrunch: (January 27th 2015):
“The former CEO of Opera, Jon von Tetzchner, has released the Vivaldi Browser for fans of the old Opera. This initial release is a Technical Preview, i.e. it is neither feature complete, nor free from bugs that might spoil your day. It uses the Chromium rendering engine like the new Opera 38. It already has Panels, Tab-stacking, Notes, Speed Dial, and Customisable shortcuts and Tabs. Built-in email is planned, but mail is limited to web mail at the moment.”
