It is, just not very easy. Start dragging above the linked text.

"Mute and remember" feature
It could be in Tab context menu.
Would be useful for websites which are playing annoying sounds on every visit and their every page. It would be great if Vivaldi will have separate feature to remember muted tabs by domain (e.g. .example.com/) and automatically mute any tab with the same domain. Of course the "Unmute" icon will be displayed on such tabs to make possible to unmute them by single click. -
Movable Web panels (except default panels)
I think Vivaldi should have this feature. Now if we want to change web panel order, we have to remove some panels and add them again in the desired order. I think it would be nice to have movabel panels via drag and drop, or simpler - via right click > move up, move down. -
In FF sometimes I use 50 and more tabs in a session. So I ask for this feature and hope we will have it soon.

Possibility to resize tiled panels

@wess
You are talking about entering either "g" for google or "b" for bing and then go on? That is fine.
But it is not the point. In chrome, you can search any page using google, which implements the particular API. In the screenshot I posted wikipedia as example, but this is possible for thousands of webpages. It is very convenient, if you for example want to search for a translation: you type "leo" or "linguee" on the command line, hit tab and within the URL bar you enter your search. Plus, you don't have to add all those entries manually and they are quite flexible, since you don't have to remember an abbreviation but simply start typing the domain and 'tab'.

That would be nice if quick search (F2) allow us to find bookmarks with their description because currently only the url bar allow us to do so.

Remember Web panel icons
Currently Vivaldi does not keep Web panel icons to show them after next launch instantly. Every icon appears after the Wep panel is loaded. The icons could be kept in the cache to appear instantly and refreshed periodically, to keep them updated if any site's favicon changes. -
I have already write about mouse and taskbar behaviour in filscreen video viewing mode, like it is in Edge

I'd like to have a setting to choose the default zoom or character size in reader mode. Right now I have to unzoom every time I open reader mode because characters are twice as big as I'd want them to be to read comfortably.
-
I'd like to have an option to disable the warning message when I go into full screen mode, I like to switch to full screen when I switch to reader mode, and every time the warning shows up, it's a bit annoying
-
@Marcin123407 I agree with you. My idea on this is that the icon in the side bar should be a normalized version of the favicon based on the theme colors. For instance, in your example, the favicon would be converted to some sort of gray scaled version of itself.

"Tools -> Clear Private Data" should remember the settings I made for subsequent invocations!
This is already available in Firefox + Chrome -
@RammsteinAM I don't see this problem. Submit this as a bug report giving details of your OS, Web Panels, etc.

@Banz Try unchecking "Show Fullscreen Reminder" under vivaldi://settings/appearance/.

It seems like I've figured out why this happens and on which panels.
For example it's happening on the panel with URLhttp://youtube.com
, but that will not happen if I add a panel with URLhttps://www.youtube.com
.
Same with Facebook messenger, I have to add new panel with "https" and "www" to see it's icon in newly launched Vivaldi.

"Mute and remember" feature
I just meet a good example of a website which I would like to mute permanently if had such opportunity: otvet.mail.ru

I think I posted this as a topic rather than a reply. Sorry, newbie mistake. Don't see a way to move it so I'll repost here. Hopefully I got it right this time.
I find myself doing this quite often:
- open a start page
- right click a speed dial folder and open all in tabs
- close the start page
It would be better, in this sequence, if the blank start page was used as one of the new tabs. so you could get rid of that last step.
-
Another one posted in the wrong place originally. Sorry for the duplication.
Suggest adding to the right-click menu on a tab stack: "reload all tabs".
