Workspace sync not working?

It says here that workspace sync should be working since 6.9 but it's not working for me at all on 7.3. Has it broken resently? both my Mac and my Win11 pc are logged into the same account. I can "send to device" from both of them to the other one so they do "see" each other so to speak. Regular bookmarks etc work. Just not workspaces.
