Audio desynchronizes from videos if I move to other tabs.
-
Done ^^
-
My guess: could be a regression for AAC encoded audio tracks.
-
Happens for me also in:
Chrome 135.0.7049.42
Chromium 134.0.6998.178
Brave 1.77.95 (Chromium 135.0.7049.52)
Edge 135.0.3179.73Does not happen in:
Firefox 137.0.1
Opera 117.0.5408.197 (Chromium 132.0.6834.210)So I don't really see how this is a Vivaldi problem?
My take: Crappy pirate sites need to fix their players to work properly...Edit: Also try to avoid directly linking to illegal content please, we don't want to give these scummy sites better search rankings.

Sorry, but the other members wanted to reproduce the issue and I had to gave them the links.
Anyway, this is confirmed to be actually a Chromium issue:
https://issues.chromium.org/issues/404464587But luckily it was fixed in Chromium 136.

I updated Vivaldi tracker entry VB-116250.

Good to hear
^^
-
@pilis00 Now we will wait until fix is backported to Chromium 134 (Extended Stable Channel) or Vivaldi will upgrade to Chromium 136 in a few weeks.
-
Can't Vivaldi bring these fixes a bit faster than Chromium?

I do not know if such can be done now by Vivaldi Development team.

Understand, I was just curious
If they are able somehow to do it faster than Chromium, then they definitely should because this problem is super annoying.
