Extension icons invisible in address bar after import and sync

When I transitioned from Chrome and imported all data, some of the extensions were missing their icon in the address bar. I reinstalled the extensions and it fixed it.

Now, I'm trying the Sync feature for the first time on my work computer and the same thing happened again.

Any ideas why and/or how to fix this (other than re-installing the extensions every time).
