Thanks for the gift.

Setting fails, because it was moved by Chromium devs into secure sandbox, in Vivaldi such Google feature is disabled.
What does a secure sandbox mean?
Does that mean that the Chromium setting is not available any longer? -

Means that can not be activated in Vivaldi at this time.
-
Is that setting available in other Chromium browsers?
-
@AllanH Yes.
-
@AllanH This actually refers to the Chrome's Privacy Sandbox, involving several new "features", like Floc, Topics, FirstPartySets, and more, for which we have taken a rather strict view: As we think these are dangers to privacy (despite protestations from Google about the opposite), anything related to them gets disabled. HARD!
And as for the third-party cookie's asked about, they got moved into settings pages related to those features, and those settings pages are also disabled. HARD!

@yngve Thanks for the explanation.

27th updated

@olli Ok. Why wouldn’t you create address bar floating in the center of screen when user presses cmd+t or cmd+l? So it would be almost the same as cmd+e currently. Why not unite those two menus?
-
We've got an early Friday already?
-
@sirrichard: That is also a possibility I guess
-
This is one Update i've been waiting for a looong time!
Using the RSS—Feed without using the Calender or Mail!Thank you for the AWSOME browser Vivaldi!

"address bar reworking continues. If you switched it off previously, please try it again." - I forgot what I need to turn on or off where. Birdbrain...

@WildEnte Maybe "vivaldi://experiments"

Still doesn't prioritize bookmarks. I type 2 characters and get the exact bookmark I want in the old search. Typing 2 characters here gives Direct Match options or if that is not selected, it gives search suggestions. It even gives history before it starts to make any bookmark suggestions.
And if this search learns from our behavior, how will I benefit from that if I clear my cache daily?
-
VB-112128 Still Not fixed.
-
@sjudenim Do you have "Prioritize bookmarks" checked?
-
I've been complaining about "simple scrollbar" now showing in any website, well, I've found a solution, maybe most of you already know that but I found it few days ago.
It's "Fluent Overlay scrollbars" and "Fluent scrollbars" in Vivaldi:flags. Just enable any of them. -
- How can I now get the list of things entered in the search bar? There is no arrow button in the search bar because few snapshots ago it was removed.
- And why suddenly all my Youtube pages shows (in the tab thumbnail) using 1GB or RAM? From what I remember it was about 200-300MB. I don't think they use more, but now it likely shows wrong RAM usage.
