Unfortunately, it is now starting to show up on news sites. This was actually what I worried about more than anything. I want nothing more than to see Vivaldi grow.
The outage is one, thing, as mentioned, others have them too. It is the 5+ days, that is different.

Hi! I see that this sync problem is becoming annoying but my experience with Vivaldi (for many years already) is that tech stuff is always fixed in a very professional manner. I understand it's an overloading problem and Sync can be mainly burdened either by notes (very likely) or bookmarks (less likely on a daily basis). I am not a tech person, but maybe dividing Sync in smaller parts working separately in separate processes could help? When I encounter a huge problem, I always divide it in smaler parts and perhaps this could also work here. Just a suggestion. I already have several versions of Sync on my mobile, tablet and laptop, so I imagine the amount of work for the servers when they'll have to sync everything once the service is back at 100%. So maybe separating the sync service in several sub-processes could enable a gradual restart (one sub-process after another) of the entire sync thing. I hope my reasoning could help somehow... Thanks!

Guys, please add an option to self-host sync, please. It will only remove load off your infrastructure.
A 7 day long downtime is unheard of, and it is causing problems. I'm on a new machine, and did not expect a sync downtime, or would've migrated accordingly.

@shojivrstrinova8, all your data are anyway stored locally in your HD, not only in the server.
