A New Vivaldi – A Whole New Browsing Experience

@pajosan Look for it here: https://themes.vivaldi.net/categories/vivaldi-official
All default themes that previously shipped with Vivaldi can still be found there.

New instant sync is really welcome.

The small gap between tab and the screen-border missing. Now I can't grab a maximized window easily anymore, when a lot of tabs are open. I have to move my mouse to the tiny space between tabs and cloud-icon...
This happens in new UI and compact mode. Also there is an option to bring the gap back, but it doesnt work - the tabs are still selected, when trying to grab the window there.
Please fix this, that is one of the most annoying things in other browsers and I loved that Vivaldi had always thought of these details before.

@thomasp: Thank you for this. It's really the difference between you and the others. While I understand the switch to 11-like UIs, it's really not for me. I hope the backward compatibility isn't too much of a hassle for you devs!

Thank you!

@haydnlaerm: Thanks for reporting. Which operating system do you use?

@atlemo I found this issue on a PC with Windows 11 Business - 23H2 22631.4169.

Still no way to search text in panels :S

Thanks for the option to restore old look and compact mode. I prefer rectangle tabs. Is there a way I can get the old context menu? The new one is so monstrously big it can't fit on my screen, and sliders are appearing.

@jon Thank you to the entire Vivaldi Team. Great job!

This is amazing! Great job, Vivaldi team!
-
Nice!
Unfortunately, no syncing of workspaces yet (so that you can simply open a desktop workspace on your laptop when you're on the road). That's the main feature I'm waiting for.

Nice, great work

Nice update but the appearance/theme thing is a bit of a mess.
The curved button default wastes a lot of space when you've got a bunch of tabs open. How can I reduce the corner radius?
Also, how can I stop the webpage colour bleeding into the tab accents?!

Got a really annoying bug which is causing a major usability issue...
On Pinned Tabs, the popup thumbnail appears at the bottom not below the Pinned Tab.
Also, I'm getting a phantom popup thumbnail from the pined tabs when the mouse isn't even hovering over them. And when I go to click on a webpage element sometimes the thumbnail pops up and switches tab.
