Snapshot 1.0.334.3 - Fixes for tab title cropping and Windows XP
-
I am still having a problem with the settings & bookmarks reverting to factory defaults. They will remain occasionally but sometimes go back to stock and I will end up with multiple copies of all the stock bookmarks.
I am using the Win7 32bit version on a Win7 64bit OS. -
GMX Mail extension still doesn't work.
-
The problem with tabs persists. Cannot switch between tabs, the tab content is not rendered. Need to duplicate the tab to make it work. Is that a new feature? The Vivaldi browser is unusable right now!
-
Firefox does it like Opera 12.17 — Find in Page bar at the bottom, overlaying the page content. Both Opera 33 and IE 11 do it like Vivaldi, opening the bar at the top and pushing the page content down.
I also lost my / shortcut, which I prefer to Ctrl F. Shortcut . to find in links is useful too.

VB-8257 Panel state is wrong in menus <- Thanks
BUGS:
-I lost most of my speed dial thumbnails, again.-about.me pages do not load at all.
-
I have this same problem with about.me. Loaded pages are completely black.
-
Was the slash "/" search ever working in Vivaldi? I don't remember but it's what I normally use. It's not working right now.

BUGS Linux 64-bit
1. Cannot search without tags (like g,y,a,wa etc.) from address bar anymore: the browser think it is a URL.Doesn't happen for me. It does search without pre-pending a tag. Mint 64 Cinnamon 334.3

Panels: Do you have the same problem when opening a panel with a shortcut? Web panels can also be with a shortcut (you have to set those up first).
-
Sounds like it installed to a new location rather than upgrade the existing one. So windows sees the updated one as different. Either that or there's a bug in windows. Did you click on the old icon to start the new version of vivaldi? and it created a new entry besides the icon you clicked on?
-
So you have used '/' as a shortcut? I know there is an issue with single key shortcuts right now. It may be related.
-
Many thanks for the update. It is crashes far less often on my system and the context menu and mouse gestures are working again!
-
Yes. We have a known issue with single key shortcuts in general.
-
"cannot switch between tabs" - how do you switch tabs, just using the mouse?
-
Was watching the video embedded on this page, then I selected another tab and tried to tile them… it didn't go well. The tabs didn't get tiled but the video kept playing, although I lost all control over the browser and over the video... I couldn't pause it, check the playing time, select or deselect tabs, or open or close tabs. I could "resize" the window, but it was more like "cropping" the window than resizing it (i.e. when I made it smaller, the top right corner buttons and/or the status bar and tabs -at the bottom- were just cropped).
I killed the window and when it came back I couldn't reproduce the bug...

Same problem.
Win 7 32bit, Vivaldi 32bit, ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO -
It seems to me that the problem occurs only when using more than one tab.
-
Yes, it was at one time.
-
Yes, it's on top by default, and moves the page content in that position, but in Opera 12.17 any toolbar can be repositioned.
1. Show the Find in Page Toolbar
2. Open the Appearance dialogue
3. Select the Find in Page Toolbar
4. Set its position to Bottom. It will then overlay the page content too.

Hmm, I have noticed something strange in the latest builds.
Step 1: I leave the PC for a while (1-2 hours) - with all my applications (including Vivaldi) still up and running
Step 2: I return, sit down, select a tab in Vivaldi and do a Reload. The page will load without style sheet. If I do another Reload, the style sheet will also be applied. This happens to all my tabs.
If I stay with one tab and click though pages in my Bookmark Bar, all pages will first be loaded without style sheet. A Reload fixes the problem.
