Snapshot 1.0.303.40 - Beta Candidate with tab and import improvements
-
On this build, my 2-tab stack did not survive, but two tabs out of my 3-tab stack did. It only broke out one tab from each stack. And, yes, the scroll bar works, plus it no longer covers the close button, so that's a plus. For now I am unconcerned whether the scrollbar itself looks pretty or not.
-
What is "not working" about your tab animations?
-
I've noticed this for side tabs, since the very beginning, very first build. The close button should appear every time you hover the tab. Sometimes, however, you have to move off the tab and back onto it, sometimes from a different direction, to get it to appear.
-
It's not a bug. AFAIK it's an intentional change to solve another problem until they can find a better solution.

VB-357 - Notes import on Linux

if user interface scale value isn't 100% , resizing the browser smaller and then bigger have this result http://prntscr.com/8wt18j
If u change tab , everything it's normal again -
There's a bug with extension icon popups sometimes showing up in a small window with scrollbars instead of their normal size.
-
Confirmed
I use double click to close, so this is not an issue
… and it would be nice to have double click to open as well … -
bug: although there is enough space for one more icon on bookmark bar, chevron icon appears and it is blank under the chevron icon.

Can't import data. The minute i click on import, Vivaldi crashes.
This is fresh install on Windows 7 32bit. Never happened before. -
I used have a visible block count on my Adblock extension. But in the latest two snapshots, this count is missing.
-
Please fix experiments. purdy please. Making any change at all crashes Vivaldi forever more.
-
In the last couple of builds, when I have only pinned tabs opened, the tab switching is weird, and the tab that is showing is not the tab that i clicked on.
This behavior is not happening when i have at least one regular tab opened…I have win7 64bit.

The two-tab Group survived with vivaldi://memory-redirect and vivaldi://about .

This is really lame but Vivaldi actually makes me happy for some brief time during the day and that's a big thing when one gets older and jaded. It has been a long time since any software made me happy. I look forward to each new release and each new improvement and I actually believe it is going to be better each time and that it's going in a direction that I expect I will like. This is a big deal. It's a project that dedicated developers work at diligently with the goal of making a software that suits such a range of users. It's improving daily at a rate and in ways that no other browser today is. I'm sure we all agree how lucky we are Jon started this and such talented developers are working with him. Obviously it isn’t perfect at this stage and will maybe never have all the features or design I want BUT IT'S BY FAR THE BEST THING going in browsers today and if it's this good in less than a year how good is it going to be 3-5 years out? OK, sentimental repetitive story over. Sorry if anyone got a tear in their eye.

Yepp. Last time I was checking for updates several times a day was back in the Opera 7 or 8 days … Wow, I am really getting old
-
Well, it isn't working in opening a new tab and closing a tab just like it did that for the snapshot it was released. But has that since been removed?
