good work, ty
upd.: refresh button stopped working) ctrl+r only -
Your continuing hard work is very gratifying to those of us who have been following and using Vivaldi since you first started letting us participate in its development. Thanks for letting us help.
Even though we are not yet at beta testing, Vivaldi has been my default browser since late March as by then you had gone way beyond what I had experienced over the years with Opera. I had used Opera since the early days when we paid for each new edition, but by 12.17, it no longer kept up with the rest of the computing browser world.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the kind words!

Finally!!! I can now remove extension buttons! I've been waiting for this for a while! Now when's the Beta coming out?
-
Still looking to be able to Set Cache level;
And, Click-to Play.
Also, Form Completion, as in Opera 12.xxx -
And we trust in M3 coming soon…

Good to see so many bugs being addressed. And once again, the Speed Dials saga continues on! If I have the Dial's address opened in another tab and refresh the dial, it loads an image, but without the tab open, it's left blank. And I have to do that operation one by one because there's no "update all." Wish you guys would remove the "X" button from the dials as well, it's pretty easy to delete them unintentionally.
I have noticed, though, that there is a slight increase on performance. Was it the sole work of bugfixing, or was it intentional?

Ctrl+Shift+V doesn't work when the url bar hasn't the focus. It just reloads the current page.

VB-9252 Extension buttons show wrong popup
Thanks, but VB-9592 isn't solved. The GMX MailCheck extension has a blank pop up and not working.

I know it's coming eventually, but I think it's important to give a reminder:
CPU optimization. -

I was unable to update from within the program so I downloaded the 32-bit Windows installer and installed it OK as standalone in folder O:\Vivaldi\ The subfolder 1.0.298.15 was created with the program files.
Restore last session does not restore the previous tabs. Remember maximised/restored does work as expected after that bug was fixed.
Launching from Opera 12.17 using a keyboard shortcut does work:
v, v = Execute program, "O:\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe"
Opening a tab from Opera 12.17 using my customised "Open in" menu does nothing:
Item, "Open in Vivaldi"="Execute program, "O:\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe", "%u",,"Vivaldi""
Open in Firefox or IE11 from the same menu continue to work as expected:
Item, "Open in Firefox 40"="Execute program, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe", "%u",,"Firefox""

Bug on update to this build from previous build using auto update is that 3 of 4 windows are not reopened
Vivaldi > About Vivaldi is broken again (somewhat or there is a long delay in Vivaldi response)

Guys have a nice time in Iceland!
-
I hope so! I did pin a web panel to mobile Gmail to the panel bar which is a passable workaround, but I'd rather have a proper email client.
-
Great work, guys. This browser is progressing at a cracking pace - we'll be in Beta before we know it!
FYI - Vivaldi went 'default' on my machine two days ago, unseating Opera after nearly TEN years (using Opera since 8.5)

Even more nice fixes will come before it's out.
