Snapshot 1.0.291.18 - A focus on bugfixing
-
Please check http://www.classicalkusc.org/stream/listen.html. No sound (nor with O12, but not sure why that would apply to Vivaldi).
Plays ok winamp
-
Go for DuckDuckGo if you do not care that much about monetizing for main searcher!
Anyway, Bing do not brings anything better than Google search (AFAIK)… And people in Europe are used to use Google search (no doubt here)...
I guess you could win them with DuckDuckGo but in my opinion nobody will understand (why) Bing... (Honestly I do not mind Bing)

Hey
BUG Folders bar (bookmarks) are outside of the browser window. http://imgur.com/B81iFrLThe same problem in a smaller window. In addition misses the mark "+"

cheers -
Because it's also the "big" search engines that would pay Vivaldi's bills to be integrated in the browser.

So finally RMB+Wheel is working as in old opera, as far as i tested it.
Strangely it works ok only if Show Tab Cycler is ticked, when its not ticked its broken as it was in previous snapshots.
I have no need for tab cycler, but i do not mind if its turn on, as long as RMB+Wheel is working properly.
Thx.For next bug-fix, i hope middle mouse click for new page is back.

People mostly use Google because it's set as default. I suspect that large numbers of people use Chrome also because it's (shamefully) packaged into other downloads from Adobe etc and sets itself as default browser. Most people use whatever is put in front of them.

Thank you very much for bringing back the drop down button and fixing the address bar, really appreciated. You people fixed the omnibar piece of shit address bar. It was really annoying. Also need an option to disable inline autocomplete of urls inside the address bar. Also put the dropdown button on existing opened windows as well.
Thanks Jon for everything.

Nice work!
Notes without formatting look pretty good (those blue links are a pain when using dark theme!)
and while you're at it .. may I suggest my new pet bug (VB-357 - Notes import on Linux) for fixing
thanks
-
thanks for the build, but please fix VB-9592 for "GMX MailCheck" extension.

Thumbnails on Speed Dial still don't work here.
Videos with alternative FFMpeg is running (still Xubuntu 12.04, shame on me)
Seems to be stable - didn't test for too long now -> great work guys!Still got a problem with zoom: if opening an picture via the context-menu and increasing the zoom level, the page where i got that pic from is zooming too.
Still hoping we'll get a 'resume download' functionality - due to my slow connection it's important to me
-
workaround for HiDPI doesn't work anymore the command line parameter are opened as Tabs now
now pages(not ui) is blurry again and strange re-scaling issues with videos. unusable for me. -
**BUG:**If you have the horizontal menu and the browser re-sized, tabs are cut to the right margin.
Now for doing a search in the address bar I must write "g somethig/to/search"
-
FULL screen only
It doesn't show up if i'm set to < full screen (I HATE full screen…..)
win xp sp3 -
Yes, allow the "big" guys to be the default, BUT, allow us 'others' to do as we wish (DDG).
-
You can set whatever default you prefer.

DuckDuckGo, yes!
-
exactly I can't agree more. (anyway, I said it in context - "ppl are used to use Google"…
Though, one simply can't beat people's habits with nothing special...
-
This one is not fixed for me - Win 10, 64bit - VB-8902 After deleting some searchengines can't enter text in Quick command field
-
Thank you for the new snapshot.
Thank you for the default search engine in context menu, thank you especially for having provided it so late, otherwise I would have never found the marvelous ¨selection search¨ extension
I'd say spatial navigation still needs to be fixed: 10 minutes of use and up and down commands have already stopped working.
Linux-Manjaro -
