Snapshot 1.0.288.3 - Geolocation support
-
Thanks! We still have some bugs to fix here, but it is all moving in the right direction. Thank you for your patience!
-
Thanks! We are trying our best to get all the details right.
Cheers,
Jon. -
Thank you for your kind words. We are trying hard to get you a great browser. There is a lot of details and we are spending more on more time on the smaller details getting things just right, while also working on bigger tasks like mail.
Cheers,
Jon. -
We will continue to work on speed. No worries there. There has actually been quite a lot of work on that. Things like bookmarks editing should work a lot better. But we still have work to do and we will continue to improve.
Thanks!

Thanks. Things are moving in the right direction, but we still have some work to do. Next snapshot should be even better.

Hi, what about vivaldi://bookmarks, why did you removed this, and cofig too
-
All this should be resolved soon. Stay tuned.
-
I (we) know.
I hope/pray your business model will be good and robust enough to stay "forever"! Nowadays diversity is as important as innovation - and needed more than ever.

Had the same problem here with Disconnect and an Tab Cookies. Remove-restart-reinstall solved it.
-
The possibility to move extension icons would set Vivaldi even further apart (and ahead) from other chromium based browsers. As far as I know there is no other browser that supports that (easily anyway), which is strange for something that you would naturally expect to be able to do.

+1000
Especially annoying if you are using an extension like LastPass as your primary password manager.
-
Is it a known bug that extension icons do not refresh to show updated info (when available) unless you change tab? Can be easily tested with an extension such as "1-click timer". The timer on the icon doesn't update unless you switch to another tab. I'm going to report this through the bug report wizard unless it's a known bug, don't really want to make a duplicate submission.

Great work. Not all speeddial thumbnails work (haven't been able to figure out a pattern yet), but it's a step in the right direction.
A question out of curiosity: why does Vivaldi open with 8 or 9 threads (as seen in taskmanager) with just the speedial open? Is it a performance thing?
Like I said, just curious.
-
I'll try that, thank you!
-
Since Vivaldi is based on Chromium, it opens one threads for each page, one for each plug-in, one for each extension and so on
-
Known issue. Multi-touch Back/Forward gestures on Mac are tracked in VB-2663.
-
Is there someone else having problems with automatic update since 3 builds ago.
It says: -
you can do it in chrome. whitch is basted on chromium.. and most other browsers have some kind of the same idea. so its not something new.
