Snapshot 1.0.288.3 - Geolocation support
-
Good to have thumbnails on speeddial back.
-
A short message just to say thanks to Jon who listened my idea about VB-8481, espen who implented it, and the rest of the team for the huge amount of fixes, starting from the SD thumbnails generation.

Thanks.

I'm waiting default zoom for migrate to Vivaldi…...

Hey guys, thanks for the update!
One thing, though: I can't seem to get the bookmark-folder "Nicknames" to work. When I enter them into the address bar, it starts a search for them instead. Is this already on the bug-list? -
I'm using Vivaldi/OSX on a daily basis and must say that I have been using gestures almost constantly. The only issue I'm having is that close tab and new page get messed up sometimes.
-
Finally, thanks for Geolocation support.
-
Nice job guys!

Nice job guys! Go Vivaldi, go!

This time I missed the position because I wrote a message longer than usual.
We will try again the next week

Been traveling for a month. Upon return and latest version, I find…
Good news: appears to open to the user's choice home page now. Finally! (hope that's not premature)
Bad news: new build opens small window, i.e., not keeping previous size (as of early Sept).

I still can not use any extension of translating the website:(

This just blocks websites from using the Geolocation API (if you don't agree to their access to it). This doesn't eliminate all tracking of your browsing or guessing of your location (those are distinct issues). In terms of visit tracking/analytics, websites or third parties are still free to use cookies, pixel tags, Flash cookies, have js forward to the servers session data they've stored in localStorage, client profiling, etc. (stuff like cookies can be individually disabled, with possible consequences of making websites less functional because they can't maintain session information for legitimate purposes), and in terms of geography, websites can still try to guess your general location from IP address. The Geolocation API is just one particular functionality where the browser sends coordinates (it's up to the browser to use either a device's built in GPS function if it has one, or use an estimate gathered through some other means).

Issue with mouse scroll and tab switching is still here.
RMB (Right mouse button)+Wheel still work strange and with different behavior from Ctrl+Tab. I tended to use RMB+Wheel as the mouse equivalent of Ctrl+Tab, so it felt completely normal to me to use tab cycling order. Now RMB+Wheel work in usage order BUT(!) not as Ctrl+Tab. When I twice press Ctrl+Tab - I will be on the same page. But for RMB+Wheel I will be on pre-previous used page.

Maybe it's a 64-bit problem. Viv32 on Win10 64 works a treat. Only thing is, of course F5 to refresh is now broken.
-
Welp, thanks for bringing me back to reality. I'll go hide in a corner now…

Linux-Manjaro, just installed the new snapshot and Vivaldi is dead, it doesn't start anymore - I have removed it with Pacman and reinstalled it but to no avail. Now I have installed the TP and that one works, small consolation though - is it something wrong with the new snapshot package in the AUR?
it would be nice to hear from the staff… -
Tab cycling with the mouse does not show thumbnail previews while cycling with Ctrl Tab does. Is that intended?

VB-8481 Web panel should use a mobile/tablet User Agent by default
VB-6005 Change interval of UI Zoom slider to 5% instead of 10%Great additions!
