Snapshot 1.0.212 - Mouse gestures with touchpad!
-
Small bug. In bookmark manager folders show a nice folder icon till we use search to find said folder. Then the icon looks like a page icon and is difficult to discern from the background. Would like to see the same icon as before making the search.
-
I just move the mouse pointer away from the Tabbar.
-
Yes, I wondered what that icon did.
-
Within bookmark manager we cannot see the folder hierarchy after we have done a search. If I search for 'cat' and I have my bookmark folders set up properly the bookmark would be in "Order>Family>Genus>Species" or "Pets>Small Pets". I hope eventually Vivaldi will show the path to the bookmark; maybe in the ADDRESS column? The way it is now it's so difficult to identify where a folder is.
-
Once there's customizable mouse gesture and better font support (the Chinese characters are rendered really bad, though it is a problem associated with chromium not Vivaldi itself) I may jump from Firefox to Vivaldi.
After all, Opera 8.5 is the first non-IE browser I use which I miss so much.
-
Is that happen , when VB is closed? If so it is known..but otherwise it strange..
-
Confirmed an reported. VB-7516

I have noticed one bug after upgrading to this version: videos on FB can not be viewed. You can play them, you can hear audio but there is no video; just a black box. I can right click and save videos as MP4 files so it is not related to Flash. I thought problem was related to Quicktime Plugin. Uninstalling Quicktime did not help. The issue with displaying controls has been solved though.
-
Funny; just tried one more setting "Disable hardware-accelerated video decode. Mac, Windows, Chrome OS". Disabling it fixed the problem.
-
There seems to be a Real problem with CPU usage, it runs at nearly maximum (when
viewing youtube) and I have noticed that Swap usage goes from Zero to over 1 GiB,
which never ocures with Opera 12.xxx
As a side issue, where is the AddBlock Plus add-on located? -
Ctrl-q is far too close to Ctrl+w (close tab), which is why in other browsers the first thing I did was turn that keyboard shortcut off.
An "Are you sure you want to exit?" popup would solve that but personally I'm fine with good ol' Alt+F4 (on Windows; I'm sure other environments have their standard shortcuts for closing applications too).
-
Olli mentioned above that it's already fixed internally
-
In recent releases it stopped being possible to install extensions from Chrome Web Store.
All it appears is the Available in Chrome option that sends us to the download chrome page.
This used to work well because I have 1 PC with Vivaldi and uBlock installed.
Please correct it. When could we expect to have extensions working properly?
Thanks and keep up the good work. -
The User Interface Scale always resets when you go to settings, or the next time you open Vivaldi. And the panel is open at every startup. I don't know if this is a bug or intended, but it annoys me a little ;).
Vivaldi seems to always open in a small window too. And I noticed that when Vivaldi asks to save the password I always had to click on "Nope" two times. I miss opening links in background as well… -
I am really missing open in background on right click…:(
-
Make sure you are logged in at Google services, i.e. the Chrome web store, otherwise Google will not show the button to install an extension.
-
It depends on how you open the page. If you open a link in background, it won't show the button. If you paste the link in address bar, it will.
-
No, you don't need to be logged in.
-
Just went to Chrome Store Apps. and installed ADP and Ghostery, no problems;
Can't see and indication of them on the Browser Page though? (top right in Opera) -
I have just re-opened the browser, and they don't show, so where do I find the Link?
Why don't they just Show, automatically?
