Snapshot 1.0.174.8-1 Startup settings and tab-switching performance

Import from certain browser which name starts with O doesn't seem to work. I have all three branches installed and would be useful that Vivaldi recognises all of them and also could import sessions too.
-
Do you only have a single core processer? If so it might be better performing with only a single thread. But using multiple threads allows the operating system to spread the load across multiple cores. Especially a separate UI thread and backend thread will usually make UI feel less sluggish.

Please annotate the "Tab cycling order" setting to make clear that this relates to "Ctrl-Tab" tab cycling. In my mind, "1" and "2" are the keys for tab cycling and it took me quite a while to understand why this setting didn't affect them.

Dear Staff! Please implement in Vivaldi browser search suggestions.

Hey Guys! I want to request some good features: Autoupdater and Extensions support (it will be beautiful if you can make Opera and Chrome extension stores support)! Thanks!
-
Zoom slider should react to mouse wheel when I move cursor over it.

Bug in Mac:
After I close the window (the app still in the dock) when I want to open it, it won’t open and if I right click on it, it will force close and give me report. -
Extensions are already partially supported and full support is on the team's list. You can already install extensions from the Chrome Web Store.
-
Any chance of an improved typeahead in the address field?
Right now, it is too slow, and require three letters in the address to kick in. -

I know, but there is no any extensions icons in Vivaldi's UI, and I need to change User-Agent to use Chrome Web Store. Oh, and one more request: I heard that Vivaldi's UI is built with HTML and CSS. Why don't allow fully modify the Vivaldi's interface, like in Firefox?

and some marks where 100%, 200% and other "important" numbers are occurred as in old Opera would fit too

+1, It's really painful… I'm used to type 1 or 2 letters (it depends on how similar address I type). Now it's 3 letters. 2 more letters compared to other browsers.
So it's not as fast as it should be and as Vivaldi aims to be "the fastest one" not by some engine speed but by the user feeling...
-
hopefully they are just waiting for a bigger user base to get better contract with google (AFAIK Google pays for this)
-
I don't see what's "crucial" about a tab's position compared to missing features like sync, mail and private windows, but it is known and will come eventually.
-
For me, The crucial part shows itself when there's already a lot of tabs open (more than 40) and you can't find a specific tab just by looking at the titles…
If we have an option to open a tab next to its parent, then even when there's a lot of tabs present, we can safely find the border between different domains because the tabs tend to group and stay together...
BUT the important things is "In a Domain Group, new tabs should always open at the end of the group". notice that it shouldn't open at the end of the tab list But at the end of the Domain Group list.
Thanks Christoph… Your sensitivity towards Sync, Mail and Private Tabs (Not Windows ! Please Not Windows !) gives me hope !
-
Private windows will probably come first. But tabs are planned as well.
-
AFAIK you are "just" a tester but if you can change it in some way (or if some who can change it will read it) - do not bother to implement private windows before private tabs. People would eat you alive because of that
just wait a bit and deliver both at the same time
