      Hey,

One of the popular requests we have focused a bit on in this build is Startup settings. You now have 3 options for startup: Continue from last time, start with Homepage and start with Speed Dial. More option will be added later in coming builds.

Tab switching still seems very slow for me.

This build seems really fast. Keep the good work going.

Thanks, for the hard work guys, much appreciated.

P.S. Here is an install script for any Linux users on non-deb/rpm distros or another script for any Linux user's who want to test the build first prior to install.

Two problems I detected with pinned tabs:

                • You shouldn't be able to close pinned tabs with mouse gestures
                • Pinned tab was not switching to top position (tabs on right side) - I can't reproduce this one now. Was sort of one-time-bug.

Links opened as new tabs are opening to the left, rather than the right of the current tab. At least for me.

EDIT 1: I can't reproduce with a clean install. It might be related to one of my extensions. I'll check. It is a regression however.

EDIT 2: On restart I can no longer reproduce. I'll update if it comes back and I can isolate it.

                      Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

Thanks for this build! Tab switching is way faster now, although sometimes they still take a while to load/switch properly.

Now, I hadn't realized this until I started using the browser's Task Manager (I'm so glad you guys made it, finding which tab is devouring your RAM is a real life saver), but the memory usage just skyrockets without any reason! Right now this Vivaldi page is using more than 500K! I know this is a Chromium problem, as Google Chrome and Opera 15+ also present this issue, but do you guys think it can be fixed? It's really annoying having a tab with a single image consuming the same amount of memory or more than a YouTube tab running a 1080p video.

Also another annoying feature of Chromium based browsers: when you select text in multiple lines, blank spaces also get selected. Do you think it's possible to make selection work as it did on Presto, where only text was selected?

I hope you are also working on tab creation and closing performance. It is still pretty slow here on Linux. If you hold Ctrl+t for a few seconds you really see the problem.

There is HiDPI support but only at 200% currently, AFAIK. Don't have a suitable machine to hand to test.
