Flash plugin is back

I got the "Vivaldi is running" dialogue while updating from Monday's build. Though, simply "repeat/try again" was enough (no need for manual closing Vivaldi. It closes itself before I hit "try again").
So more time is needed before Vivaldi close itself (or some self-check or whatever). But at least - as you promised - the installer did not show up! just the progress bar indicatorregression1: vertically, horizontally and grid possibilities are gone.
edit: pff, harder to find, but OK, it's there.
regression2: this installer (autoupdate from Monday's build) pinned me another (2nd) Vivaldi icon/launcher on windows taskbar (W8.1 x64 with x32 VB) - though, I have pinned the same rout but with some launch parameters (β something)
edit:feedback for tilling change: tiling should be possible by clicking on the status bar icon as well. AND "No tiles" should be renamed to "Untile" (respect the naming from content menu).so far, can't see any other regressions so early after the release
-
I was about to educate you for regression1β¦ ;P
-
I just edit it 2nd time for you
-
only Linux:
regression: mouse gesture not working (aptosid 64bit/xfce)
mouse buttons (back/forward) don't workHappy Easter

The mouse shortcut to close a tab doesn't seem to work (down->right).
Adding a tab in a group which is "Tile stack" doesn't update the tile. We have to deactivate the tile and reactivate it.
-
Nice. I still would like the option to expand tab groups in the tab bar, though.
And for the tiling, I wish for splitters between the tiles. That way I could very simply compose a great dashboard from different sizes. Especially, if the tiling as well as the scroll positions within the tiles were saved between sessions.

_Be aware that "expand group"iswas there BUT it used to close the group instead of expanding with meaning of "see all but still in a group" (as Opera does).Though, I used the Opera behaviour a lot. I used groups (stacking) somehow like speed dial⦠(group similar pages, open group, use it, close and work with another...)
But since Chromium eats a lot of memory it's not longer possible and expanding groups and collapsing them afterwards seems a bit not practical to me but whatever

Can I see right, that memory-handling (releasing) became better?
-
- The autoupdate is good, but it creates a taskbar icon, a desktop icon and a program group. I don't want all of this with each update again (it's enough for me to have a link in the start menu). It feels like the progress bar needs much more time (the last few updates installed itself faster).
- the speed dial icons are black for the first ~5 seconds after the browser start
- the tile icon in the status bar is nice. maybe you can disable the grid option, if there are only two pages and save the last used option for new tiles (or add a default tile setting).
-
Installed the previous build on 5 PCs. I downloaded it five minutes before the new release
-
Again, nope, "Expand tab stack" is gone for good. (finally fixed wording)
-
Adding a tab to a tiled stack works for me.
-
list the whole page he refers to in some antispamfilter or delete his acc already⦠please, thanks
-
Down-right mouse gesture to close page not work.
-
I'm done!
progress is much faster than I can watch
(though, no VB-report were listed there and I simply assume it's not fixed without checking it again, my bad)
-
1. links opened in new tabs are opening outside the stack which is a bit inconvenient.
2. changing the zoom affects all the tiles at the same time. It would be better if it affected only the active tile.
3. mouse gesture for closing tab is not working. -
Appreciate the continued work.
Question: Does the "Find in page" UI coming up centered look a little unorthodox to anyone else? Shouldn't the whole thing be moved to the left?
-
Personally, I think it would look better left aligned, yes ..
-
Yay! My pet peeve of recent releases has been fixed. That is, Ctrl-Z used to undo editing change AND restore the most recently-closed tab. Since I do a lot of editing in a web browser, that was stopping me from using Vivaldi.
I can't wait to see TP3.
