Snapshot 1.0.118.2 now available

30 tabs plus tab color does introduce a barely perceptible lag (not as bad as yours), so perhaps you have some other things going as well. For instance, I only have a single extension (auto copy).

A couple of weeks ago. Shall I do it again, just to be sure?

Thanks ! Now I can go to sleep knowing it's not only my problem !
as you stated the lag is barely perceptible… but as a Gamer who is used to smooth UIs, this really bugs me... Maybe Opera 12.X made me this way ! -
I have the same problem as you. I don't open as many tabs as you do, but the more I have open, the more sluggish the browser becomes, yet RAM usage doesn't influence anything - although it accuses heavy usage of CPU on my end.
I'm currently using a Windows 7 with Asus Motherboard, 3.0MHz i3 processor and 4GB RAM Memory (no video card, so the memory is shared with video).

This will be best them…
-
It is a known bug.
-
Page preview is hidden, if I place the tabs to the bottom.
-
Panda Antivirus "shoots out" the installer EXE file. I have to make a whiltelist for the installer.

Thanks so much for being the only browser that takes spatial navigation seriously! Decent keyboard operation is impossible without it. Vivaldi is starting to feel much more like old Opera now.
Are bug reports on it appreciated, or is it still too much in development for that?

1. Optionaly remove the top bar (so that tabs reach the end of the screen, since it's easier to click on them).
Indeed. I hope V developers can squeeze this in somehow while they work on other issues.

not being able to reopen vivaldi when main frame crashes is my problem too (but im experimenting with not-offically-supported extensions)
-
i'd rather set backspace for "back", and "esc" for "go back to root". having a one level tree will make them the same, but having deep tree would gain usability if my idea get implemented
also - the "back" is now less visible than it used to be. it would be also nice to have breadcrubms when getting deeper into bookmarks tree. currently it looks somehow like breadcrumbs, but it only shows "back" and current folder

i can confirm this issue, "Tab Colors" is disabled. 16GB RAM, opening a lot of tabs make F4 toggling lagging. Also trying to open 30 tabs at once (just fast pressing ctrl+t) caused browser to stop responsing for several seconds. I can do this with no problem with ChrOpera.
I tried changing graphic card from internal to nvidia - and this only made things worse. I could notice few (2-3) frames of animation when F4-toggling with ~40 tabs (speed dial) opened on internal, it's laggy-instant (no animation) with nvidia. weird.

Finally, side tabs are back! thank you so much!!!
-
Hmm, I still get quite few NSL (Never Stops Loading). I have seen it on all versions so far.
Anybody else experiencing this? -
No problem. Here's the 64 bit version as well.

The RPM links point to the opposite architecture's file. That is.. the 32-bit link downloads the 64-bit build and vice versa.
