Great work guys… your determination towards making this the true successor of Opera gives me hope every week !
By the way... Please...Please...Please... give me my "Ctrl + Shift + C" shortcut back ! in Opera 12.X it used to automatically make a new Note in the Notes... this really made research for me faster and more fun... but with the current builds, I have to select a part of text and then make a note by right clicking and selecting "Add Selection as new Note"...
There are some features which are already implemented (such as Notes) but they have yet to get a Shortcut entry in the settings.... If you could do that, my productivity would increase (and perhaps others too)...
Now heading to test the new build out...

Thanks for the snapshot! The add bookmark popup isn't displaying properly on mac in a way that makes it hard to use:

Is there a way to disable the single key keyboard shortcuts like 0 and 9 to zoom and z and x to navigate forward and back? The interfere with certain websites. For example, 0 moves the slider on a youtube video. Thanks!

Yeah, I really know and they are doing it really well. I have hope again.

since you are working on the tab, you could add the option "close tabs on the right" in addition to "close other tabs" that I've always found it useful to organize them?
-
Yes ! This is a really useful feature especially when you don't want all the tabs to close but only the tabs to the right…

VB-3788 Installer doesn‘t respect given destination folder
Yay! Finally no more moving the installed files manually! Thanks!

It seems that the SUSE repo (http://repo.vivaldi.com/archive/rpm/x86_64) has some problems. Each time I refresh it, I get:
"File 'repomd.xml' from repository 'vivaldi' is unsigned, continue?"
Thanks -
Thanks, forgot about the search box. For now, I've reenabled it.

Check links please. -
The left-click + drag down mouse gesture to open a new tab has not been working for me since release (left-click + down-right works fine). Is this a bug or just not implemented yet?

In the add bookmark popup is a dropdown with all of my bookmark folders. Is there a way to identify what's a main folder and what's a subfolder?
And a (second) click at the add bookmark icon in the address bar should close the add bookmark popup.

sorry for my english, i am Opera 12 user and now I am Vivaldi user. I have a slow internet connection and Because snapshot version of vivaldi have not a resume link for download I am unable to download this version. i try 20 times but Each time download is interrupted. only tech preview have a resume download link, please help people like me
Can someone upload this version on another server with resume link? please -
Some bookmarks thumbnails have lost its preview. And actualization of the preview does not work (the preview stays blank - dark grey).
Not even re-add (delete; add to the bookmarks) helps.
any confirmations?
W8 x64 with this x32 build (installed over previous one where all previews worked AFAIK) -
YES! The browser gets more complete every week! It already has so much more features than most Chromium based browsers, and it's just a Tech Preview! Well, let's analyze the issues.
-Youtube videos now run in 1080p@60fps for me (didn't happen before). Although there are a few issues. It seems like 1080 runs fine, but it can't go past 30fps. In fact, when trying to run 1080p videos at 60fps, it goes lower than 25fps. I have the task manager open, and the CPU usage skyrockets in this particular mode for me. 720p@60fps works without any problems. I believe this is an issue on how Vivaldi runs Flash PLayer based videos.
-Sometimes Vivaldi will close by itself. When trying to open the browser again, no window will open, but the process will start - a Youtube video was running, so I could hear the video's sound, but had to open the task manager in order to end the process so I could reopen Vivaldi.
-Mid click on Speed Dial still doesn't work, although Christopher (I believe) had already mentioned they found the bug I reported and are working on it.So far, these are the only issues I had with this build. If you can manage to fix those, I'll make Vivaldi my default browser! And it's still just a Tech Preview! Good work guys! I'm really enjoying seeing this project going forward!
Edit: a few YouTube videos still fail to render past 360p, even though they're available at higher settings. The number of occurrences has lowered, though.

Spatial navigation got now some cool animated growing rectangles
Nice feature!
Gathering tabs with CTRL + LMB and easy way to stack them is also very neat. THX -
Sounds great, I'm gonna try this out right away!
How far from a release with email client as well? -
Ok… Here we go :
1. Middle clicking on a pinned tab shouldn't close the tab... Firefox does this and it's irritating... I tend to close my tabs with middle clicking and if I middle click on a pinned tab mistakenly, it shouldn't close... ChrOpera does this right... as Opera 12.X did...
2. Performance in GUI has seen a drastic fall especially when opening a new tab... the color transition... the lag... everything about it hurts... also when opening the panel there's a bad lag and it doesn't matter if one of the panels items is selected or not... the lag happens... BUT since you commented in the last blog entry that "Performance related issues are known and will be dealt with eventually..." I won't drag this on longer...
3. Bookmarks Popup doesn't show where it should be... just like in this comment above.
4. Mouse gestures stopped working again…
5. There's a good change in Speed dials : now there's a new back button so that we could go back to the upper folder we were in before (the design is new... but it was there before). But clicking on it is hard (it's small) and it'd help if there was a shortcut for going up ('Esc' is a good key).
Again, I thank you for the hard work...
