Dark theme doesn’t work in Wikipedia.
-
Hello everyone! Hope that you enjoy reading this and help solving the issue. I have sensitive eyes and I can’t stand the bright light. I usually use the dark background but it doesn’t work in the Wikipedia page while using the Vivaldi browser in an iPad, I have to switch to the competition, Firefox. If anyone has advice for sensitive eyes I would love to know. Merci beaucoup, have a wonderful day you’ all.

Good morning Erik,
They do but it doesn’t work on my iPad. I have to change to Firefox. I use Wikipedia a lot, their site says it may have problems. But why does it work on Firefox and not my favorite browser Vivaldi?
I hope you could help solve the issue.
Have a wonderful day! -

Can you describe in which ways you've already tried enabling dark mode for Wikipedia, both in Vivaldi's and Wikipedia's own settings? Then we can make further suggestions. -
Hello Jane,
Thank you so much for your reply. In the Vivaldi browser you can choose the dark theme to be applied, but for some reason in the Wikipedia page it doesn't go dark. The Wikipedia page has an option for accessing the dark theme but it doesn't go dark. I have to change to Firefox and the page automatically has the dark background. Why do you think this happens? My eyes are bothered with bright lights, so it's much more comfortable to have the black background.
What I also realize right now is that answering to the notification, as I am writing this there is no option to have the dark background. I am answering from an Android phone.
I will be very grateful for your support, my eyes will also send you blessings.
Thank you, hope you have a wonderful day!

Have you updated your Vivaldi to the latest 7.2 version? Does it happen there as well?
