@gryzor: this is not a browser bug since it doesn't appear here either. Had you been logged in when donating?
No idea. But I'd have expected to cross-reference the email address the donation was made from. Or at the very least make me log in or warn me before donating?

New tab button in tab menu changed location. preferred it as a double tap on tab menu button. going to rollback version for now. Thanks for hosting old versions on uptodown.
Also transition and pop up animations are noticably slower and feel sluggish.
-
@HalleAndert it's ok
-
Vivaldi team, keep on doing your excellent job!!!

There is a bug in this update, every time I close a tab it moves to the group of tabs and not to the previous tab or the penultimate tab I was in
... furthermore in my case, the "closed" tab doesn't actually close, it stays opened.

Where did the dark mode toggle go?
-
@lyzar: looks like a user-agent problem?
-
@toriigate meaning what?
-
@Lyzar It is possible that Google Search recognises Vivaldi as a non-Chrome browser suddenly, and is therefore showing a different layout. They often do this on Firefox.
-
I'd love to be able to save a session for later use, so I can close all the current tabs and start afresh. Then I can come back and revisit tabs later from the Bookmarks.
-
@toriigate so is there anything anyone can do or is it just up to Google?
-
did this update cause issues in the appearance of search engines like google? Because it does not look right.

Yeah, maybe a feature similar to the onetab extension.

Have you used that with Vivaldi?
-
@gryzor In Vivaldi for desktop, no. In other desktop browsers, yes. It is one of the essential extensions I use.
-
@bluesz ah ok, thanks!
-
@jon I downloaded earlier today. New settings and design are gorgeous. Menu seems to be slightly smaller but it is not Vivaldi's fault that I am getting older and so do my eyes
-
@pgmost: it's a nice setting UI
