Prompt if no Subject on new email
-
It would be useful to have a flag saying 'Prompt if Subject field left blank'
It was very useful in Opera Mail, and in Vivaldi I get caught out occasionally where I don't spot the blank Subject until after I have Sent. -
I really hate sending out blank subjects, this can happen to people who write in a rush and prefer to start writing the message body before the subject
the problem with blank subjects is that then the other person responds to it and now you have a full thread of emails based on a blank subject.
I don't know why there needs to be a flag, just make a dialog pop up when the user tries to send saying please fill out the subject

@dalinar I think he meant flag as checkbox. Is a common feature after all..
Nothing so uncommon to be relegated to an experiment -
I think this is a good idea. The e-mail app I use on Android does this, if the Subject field is empty.

I just did it again (sent out an empty subject email)...
the reason I tend to do this is simply because I like to type the body first, and then write a subject.. but when I'm in a hurry I hit send.. I immediately know I forgot to put the subject but by then it is too late
