Need Fixed Tab Width & Horizontal Scrollbar for Tab bar on Top/Bottom Position
We have that feature on Vertical tab bar, why not on the horizontal tab bar?
Also, please made the scrollbar thickness customizable, because fat scrollbar looks really ugly , & it took up too much space.
Tqvm.

I think that auto hibernation after some specified time would be very useful.

Quick commands should use a 'fuzzy match' for commands. Meaning inexact searches should give reasonable results. Think sublime text's command palette.
For instance, Sublime Text puts emphasis on matching acronyms ('NW' would match 'New Window') and allows characters to be omitted ('ew Wndw' matches New Window)
Basically, not requiring less typing to get commands. -

You can remove your posts on your own ("Delete" option is below "Edit"), though you can always come up with another great idea and edit your post again, to share it with others...

@ROTFL I didn't know that, as I never felt the need to delete any of my posts. Looks like it's their thing to do then...

Both for the Windows version of Vivaldi:
1) switch to disable the execution of programs (on by default)
This requires you to query the targets for the specific file extension and ensure that the file won't be executed on open. Additionally, you could maintain a list of Windows file extensions for executables (.exe, .com – but there are more).
The fact that Vivaldi treats extensions like '.mp3' and '.exe' the same (when clicking 'open') is "problematic" for obvious reasons.
Difficulty to implement: low2) removal of unnecessary files after Vivaldi has updated
Alternatively this could be put into the update dialog (extra switch).
This should be easy for you – and only for you – as you know, which files are actually needed and which are obsolete.
I noticed that Backups were increasing in size. It turned out, that the culprit was Vivaldi leaving residues of old versions after each update.
Difficulty to implement: lowThis wouldn't work on linux though; you can have an executable called
notavirus.jpg
and you can still run it if it has execute permissions. The same way, if a file does NOT have execute permissions, you can't execute it (or at least you get a window asking you to add the permission and then run it, so the user would notice it wants to execute actual code) -
The old opera had an option to auto reload a page on given intervals. You could right click on the page and select "Reload every..." from the context menu. This is useful when you are watching content that is likely to change like a bug list, or just testing your html/css.
Also, the tab tiling feature is great but it would be more useful to allow tiles to be resized.

Could you please make it auto focusing to the URL input box when one use shortcuts to turn on the address bar?
Usually I would hide it... but when I turn it on, most likely I want to type in an address, except when I want to check the URL or copy it...
BTW, could you please also let the status bar show the URL when I put the mouse hangover the tab? And and "copy URL" entry in the right click menu? Then, more likely I'm willing to type in...
Thanks.

Beside a complete Opera-Mail-Client replacement I would appreciate to substitute my currently used extensions (EMail Link, Smart RSS, uBlock origin) with Vivaldi build-in functions.
Another item on my wish list is a keyboard shortcut for the way images are displayed (in the German UI it is the dropdown in the status panel "Bilder anzeigen" (show pictures), "Nur gespeicherte Bilder" (stored pictures only) and "Keine Bilder" (no pictures).

good to be possible to save tabs in stack as bookmark folder but I would like I could name that bookmark folder before I save.

There are many times i can't find the scroll bar, when its getting smaller for example (vertically), so i would like to have:
Feature that lets me color the scrolling bar for better visibility.
Alsore there are times when websites make it that there is no scroll bar at all or its so small its hard to grab with the mouse. (yes i know there is a scroll wheel on the mouse usually, but i like to move it manually)
Feature to overwrite custom scrollbar sizes, so basically make the scrollbar stay the same size, shape and color i want it to be.
Vivaldi needs better Bookmarking system too, which tabs i want to bookmark, in which folder i want them to save, create new folder and save there etc..

It exists already and it's called Custom CSS. All you need to do, is to set custom parameters for your scrollbars (like width, colors etc.) and apply them to all (or specific) websites using an extension, for example this one.

Please add hints on download list that display downloaded file name (always or only when name cannot be fully displayed)

Definitely the ability to add custom icons for Speed Dial.
I'd also love if Flash came packed in with Vivaldi, instead of having to download Chrome or whatever, steal the file, and bung it into Vivaldi's files.
I reinstall my OS a lot, seeing as how I'm using a Chromebook, and it's really easy to just reinstall Linux with a new flavor, I'd love the ability to save settings info to my Vivaldi profile, or something of that nature. I also saw, while reading this, someone suggested the ability to mute/unmute tabs... I agree. -
Web page information like in Firefox - CTRL+I. There I can see tabs like general, media, RSS, rights, security. Also I can easily download images, icons and other files under media tab (there is a button "Save As...") that are otherwise not easily accessible.

- Make an option to save locally webpage as an one file archive (like in Opera 12).
I second this.

It's an option in vivaldi://flags now.
