Plus Addressing

I use Vivaldi in Thunderbird on macOS and it works OK but I wanted to use Plus Addressing ([email protected]) - which I use on other mail clients but mail never seems to arrive; [email protected] works OK.
Is Plus Addressing supported?

@Milliways well, there's this help entry https://help.vivaldi.com/services/webmail/webmail-settings/#Identities which says that from the web interface it doesn't work, but if you use a mail client it should.
In the mail client integrated in Vivaldi, check the alias tab in the account definition, see eg https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/95585/sending-mail-from-aliases/2?_=1716017472431

I don't know why people are telling me about aliases which I am not using.
The Plus Addresses do show on Vivaldi Webmail (which I hadn't used), so my issue seems not with Vivaldi but my Thunderbird setup.

Consider reading the link I previously posted as it explains how to do exactly what you wanted, i.e. send an email from a Plus Address and have its reply use the same.

@yojimbo274064400 I'm currently not able to get it working for my Vivaldi account, I filed VB-106651 [Mail] Login and send issues with vivaldi.net account using plusaddressing alias and oAuth
Usually on Win11 running Vivaldi Snapshot builds. Opinionated about working efficiently with email. Folders are evil | Mail workflow: receive, read, reply, mark as read, done.

Was not aware of OAuth support in Thunderbird so did not test; seems support is limited to Outlook, Gmail, and Yahoo

@Milliways, no issue receiving emails addressed to Vivaldi email address using plus addressing.
