@Gregor Energy Saver (Chromium) saves CPU (i.e. battery on laptops).
Hibernation saves memory (RAM).

Hi, if you use the new Memory Saver in Settings > Tabs and choose one hour all actively used tabs gets not hibernated, idle tabs after one hour.
If you use "Hibernate Background Tabs" from the tab context menu all tabs gets hibernated independent of your usage 5 minutes ago.
Chromium browsers hibernate tabs if the memory is low automatically since a while without user action.
You get just more control with the new setting.

On YouTube, I cannot reply to anything comments wise. The comment button doesn't work and clicking on a reply comment in the popup just gives me blank. Anyone else?

Just saw a bug that I think I've occasionally seen before too - some YouTube videos have choppy picture when playing fullscreen (and at the same time the sound is fine - and the player's own stats show 0 dropped frames - so the problem's probably further down the chain). I don't know if it's related to the fact that I have two displays (but I think the previous time I saw this I tried with just one, which didn't fix it). The system is plenty powerful, I don't think it's related to performance. I'm running Windows 11 (26100.1). The same bug also manifests in the stable branch. Hi, the video runs fine on my old laptop, full screen, 1080p, specs in my signature.
May be an extension work not correctly after the update, try this video in the guest profile.

@mib2berlin It is applications that used to input Chinese characters. If you add Chinese language in windows settings, you will have input methods like microsoft pinyin.

Ah, we have a bug report about using input method with the Japanese language, reported and confirmed yesterday.

If you enter Japanese after displaying the menu, Vivaldi will crash
I guess this is the same issue, I added a comment in the report.

@HALVAM Hi Can you provide a crashlog for this. You will find the latest .dmp file in a subdirectory of your User Data directory, called Crashpad\reports

"%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Crashpad\reports"

Look for a crash log that was created around the time you witnessed the crash—sort by “Date”. Could you attach this on a bug report for us https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/ and give me the number of the bug that was created.
