CRISES! Entire Feeds Subscription disappeared
-
@Calixthe could you investigate for me the Feeds filters that you have in your db and report back to me as explained in my instructions from this post: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/83641/crises-entire-feeds-subscription-disappeared/49?_=1691747807314
thanks in advance

After the recent update, all previous RSS feeds disappeared. SO I started again and get this error
-
@thinkeranddoer
Did you click on the restore feeds button? -
Yes, of course. Nothing happened
-
I'm getting the same error. Restore Feeds doesn't change anything.
-
is there anything, that can be done to get my RSS-Feeds working again?
-
Today Suprise, 6.4.3160.47
-
Any news that this bug ?
-
I am afraid not. Sorry about that. I take it that you have pressed the "Restore Feeds" button and nothing happened. Is that true? If so, could I ask you to do what I asked another user to do in August without getting a reply:

There may be some relief here: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/94681/lost-or-corrupted-feed-mitigation?_=1706495141685

My turn (again, I think*)... came back after lunch and opened Vivaldi to find all feeds are gone.
(*) Pretty sure this has happened at least once before over the years.
Last thing I did before closing Vivaldi before lunch was to delete the trash which contained ~1000 feed articles I'd just gone through after the weekend. Now, given Vivaldi's old annoying UI quirk of letting you delete an entire feed by pressing [DEL] if the focus is in the wrong place, I wondered if that was what happened... but I'm pretty sure I didn't do that and I think the current snapshot is supposed to give a warning (finally).
Anyway, not too big a deal - I have bookmarks of most of the feeds, so I was able to find and resubscribe to those.

@mossman You can export feeds to
.opml
format from Quick Commands. They can be imported from main menu (File — Import) again. Backing up feeds is vital. -
And finally, the problem now plagues me too: without making any changes to the RSS feeds, I suddenly no longer have it listed, but are all still registered in the menu, just as happened to users before me. The ‘Restore feeds’ button produces no result. Still no solution found?

where's my feed? I added https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UC2rGK24PxkXeaE2RVbodAbg and I can see the feed in my settings - rss - list but not in my mail/rss panel.
If I delete it and add it another time, same thing is happening.I had this feed already added (since some months), but it didn't rearrange in alphabetical order within a feed folder. I thought, that if I re-add the feed, it's ok.
other feeds (for example this thread) are added without a problem -
@derDay Always export your feeds to opml. If anything strange happens, delete all feeds and re-import. This should fix all issues.
