@ybjrepnfr i've just [again] retried the native vertical tabs, so i can use its context menu options, but naaaaaah, i just can't stand it. it's just too primitive compared to all the options i rely on with tst, so sadly once more i need to [re]disable it.

@ybjrepnfr yeah no. Nothing comes close to tst and the even better sidebery (very unfortunate that it doesn't work nice with the workspaces).

@npro well, i've just checked my nightly's user.js, but there's nothing in that which is hiding the csd, & nightly has always reliably not showed those when i disable the native title bar. so, for whatever reason, floorp has always behaved differently for me, in that issue. certainly i cannot explain why it only changed just now for you.

/edit: actually... I think I'm gonna revert it to that

/edit #2: Tab Bar under Preferences used to have a "Normal mode", now it is called "Default", maybe that's responsible for it....

Who has really thought about this icon when he/she was designing it... it certainly does not look like glasses to me (or maybe I'm just too naughty )

fwiw...

about 30' ago i thought floorp had had a core meltdown on me. suddenly as i changed tabs, the ui changed, tst vanished [but the sidebar remained], all my workspaces vanished. oh nooooooooooooooooooooooo, this is so unfair, how could my precious floorp do this to me?

then i realised that i'd accidentally dragged that tab out of my floorp window, thus creating a new, 2nd, window, that was sitting fully on top of my original one. so, nothing catastrophic had actually happened at all, & my worry was silly.

@ybjrepnfr yeah I thought that too, both in (angry) red and very figurative (one is unloading tons of ammo, the other one tries it "the other" way, lol.
