Pressing enter in address bar delays

Hi there,
only since some time I'm having the following issue:
If typing something in the address bar and pressing enter, nothings happens. If have to press enter again and again, till it suddenly loads the URL entered.Choosing a website from speed dial, from bookmarks or from the suggestions in the adress bar and clicking it, everything loads totally normal.
I'm using Vivaldi Snapshot - version: 6.4.3149.7 (64-Bit) on Kubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Any ideas?

Hello! I'm having a similar issue --- however, I seem to have resolved it by disabling uBlock Origin. This isn't ideal, but I thought I'd share. My other extensions don't seem to cause an issue, but when fully disabling uBlock from the "Extensions" menu and relaunching, typed websites load within a reasonable time on my system.
I'm on Vivaldi 6.4.3160.34 (stable) on Manjaro.

@fccloud Thanks! That solved the issue for me. Seems to be a bug in Vivaldi, because ublock works fine on Chrome.

And which lists do you have with uBlockO?

Apologies, I currently don't have the time to figure out which list may be the culprit, but below is what I have at the moment:- all five uBlock filters
- EasyList
- EasyPrivacy
- Online Malicious URL Blocklist
- Peter Lowe's Ad and tracking server list

Also having this issue on Mint 21. It began with the latest update {6.4.3160.34 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit) } and is unrelated to extensions (I don't use uBlock and disabling the ones I do use has no effect).
It gets weirder:
- Sometimes, hitting enter/return in the address bar bar deletes the last word I typed in the URL rather than entering it.
- If I type a URL and hit enter/return, then switch to a new tab, the web page will eventually load in the active tab and not the tab in which it was requested.
Has someone filed a bug report?
Update: Upgrading to 6.4.3160.41 does not fix it.

I don't have uBlock installed and have this issue as well. I haven't yet gone through my extension to discover if the culprit lies in one of them yet.

I think the brandnew 6.5 Snapshot fixes that.

Not fixed with today's snapshot
There is still great lag with "Browser history" enabled in address auto-complete.Edit:
Seems fixed in 6.5.3201.4. -
I deleted my whole history & cache for that problème
