If you change the search engine in the search field at the start page you get a message.
I guess new users get this message at first start of Vivaldi.

@mib3berlin well, um, i did it years ago, but from memory, nothing special, just one of the usual ways:
- open
vivaldi://settings/cookies[but, y'know, via the usual silly chrome / vivaldi url shuffle] - click the tiny arrow button in the pic
pic
- in previous snappies that opened the page with all currently stored cookies; now it is blank
- right-click on it then click
Add Page To Web Panel

Yes, chrome://settings work but I thought these were really the Vivaldi settings.

Hm, I get this in a clean profile if i change the search engine in the start page search field to Google:
But I changed the default search engine in settings before I test this.

Broken permissions for Notifications
VB-100401 "Notifications do not ask for permission anymore" -
On Reddit, most of the time I'm not getting the I-beam text cursor in the comment editor. Occasionally it shows up, but mostly it's missing. No other changes here beside the V update this morning.

@bjorgvin Replied to VB-97582 (Re: (VB-97582) Some mails not showing downloadable attached files) with 4 eml samples not showing attachments. Via gmail webmail all messages show attachments. Tried to import to last snapshot and last stable and in both cases it shows no attachments. Also shows a 0B size but I guess that is an import bug since they show the message body.
It is one of the bugs making vivaldi mail client not reliable in my case since they are work related email messages and I'm forced to use webmail to download the files.

With this and the previous builds I get browser crashes upon opening a private window (regardless if via menu or a shortcut) - I would say the first time in a session, and it's random after that. - Windows 23H2
