It's a new thing that the updater shows messages in my OS language instead of Vivaldi User Interface Language? I'm using Vivaldi set to English (UK) but my work PC's windows is set for Italian. Never seen the updater in italian tho, until now
-
Since this is an RC and not yet a release, we also recommend you backup your settings before upgrading.
wait, backup your settings? how? Do you mean backupping "%localappdata%\Vivaldi\User Data\Default" ?

I think, that is meant.

I never worry about that. Because I start my Vivaldi by a script. It will restore my data everytime.

@Ruarí mmh.. why this gap?
Oh is the padding-left with native+tab on side.#browser.win.native.address-top.disable-titlebar:not(.tabs-top, .alt) .mainbar .toolbar, #browser.linux.native.address-top.disable-titlebar:not(.tabs-top, .alt) .mainbar .toolbar { padding-left: 5px; }

FYI, I just tried this:
https://blogs.bing.com/search/august-2023/Bing-Preview-Release-Notes-More-Ways-to-Access-Bing-ChatAnd it's working in this release (Enterprise and Personal). What that means going forward for the spoofing(?) done starting with 6.2 is unclear, but it's possible that whatever that was can now (or soon) be reverted. Or not, since I don't know what was involved with it.

I can confirm the resize issue - only for panels set to Separate Width. For all panels except Bookmarks for some reason, and not for web panels. Have you reported it?
I cannot confirm the close button missing, are you using floating panels? Must be some special combo of settings if not.
-
@Pathduck I can confirm the resize issue. Actually the width is locked to the size they had before the bug,
-
Nice, problems with small popup windows on EGroupware fixed
-
@rseiler: great news

This regression has not been fixed since it was introduced with the changes to the Toolbar Layout, moving the Show/Hide Panel button from the Status Bar to the Navigation Bar. In the Customise Toolbar Dialog it is still on the Status Bar, not on the Navigation Bar.
(VB-97070) Panel Toggle button is on Navigation Toolbar, but on Panel Toolbar Edit Dialog (27/4/2023)
The Bug Report was badly written. These screenshots should clarify what the bug is.
Panel Toggle in Wrong Section of Dialog
Panel Toggle on Navigation Toolbar
This is where the Panel Toggle button should be located - on the Navigation Toolbar Section, where it is the default.
