"mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli" Search Engine Extension Issue
Out of the blue, all of my Vivaldi browsers (1 Desktop, 1 Laptop, 1 Phone) which are synced with my account, stopped being able to search from the address bar while Google is selected as the search engine.
Whenever I do search from the address bar from my PC (Desktop & Laptop, both windows), I get redirected to this:
chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/www.google.com/search?q=searching
(In this example I typed "searching" in the address bar)When I search from my phone (Android), if Google is selected as the search engine, whatever input i give when I hit enter just disappears after a split second where I can see the UI trying to direct me somewhere, but there is no page I end up on.
I can't find much information on this chrome extension, I've at least been able to determine it's a vivaldi extension that's used to store user information but I don't see why it has anything to do with my search engine.
I also don't see how this is affecting Vivaldi on Android as well.I'd love any help I can get for this.

@theblackcat99 Which Vivaldi version is this? Have you activated Search Suggestions?

@theblackcat99 Try to reset search engines to their default: Vivaldi Settings → Search → "Restore Defaults" and restart.

@DoctorG Good evening, and sorry for the late reply.
I screenshotted the about section of my Vivaldi instance, just blurring my name.
Search suggestions were turned on, those settings remain the same after the reset.I restored the defaults and things went back to normal, not before noticing that the Google part had a blank Favicon in the list, although the settings seemed to all be correct before the reset. Now the Favicon is there.
Resetting fixed the issue, I just wonder what happened...
