Can I share (selected) notes with another profile?
-
Yep,
You would try:On V#1 F2 type Export
Notes will appear
Try thatOn V#3 (Test Profile) Import from F2 "the ones you may want" "" because depending on the structure, they are no Titled and you may not know what is each of them
Once Mastered
Import them to the V#2 TargetProfile.

this works in part. Which means that the nots can be exported in their entirety to a local disk, which is already very good. But the file names of the notas are truncated, which makes readability extremely difficult. The first 4 letters of the original name followed by an underscore and a number consisting of up to three digits. For example, like Abcd_123, so 8 characters in total.
Too bad the file names get distorted like that. But hmm, ok that they can be exported. -

I will have to test this out at a later date when I have more time.

That was what I've been referring too.
If you install QTTabBar, you can see a preview hovering the mouse, otherwise, use the [File Explorer] side panel to identify them.
-
What is QTTabBar? and where to find?
-
-
I am using windows 11. Installing QTTabBar.exe fails. The installer freezes and after 10 minutes nothing has happened. Also, the installation interface responds. Clicking on it gives no response. I had to restart my PC.

Finally installed anyway, but that QTTabBar doesn't work at all in windows 11. In the installed maps it does show as "installed" but in windows explorer there is absolutely nothing to observe.
However, it blmains anyway "to struggle" and is not really a solution to make the original file names visible. Too much work to go through it all one by one. -
I mean about to see the content easily.
In the Install folder there's a QTTabBarEnabler.exe, when is not visible, this needs to be run.
The problems in the installation would be related to the Win Version.
Had that problem on one install but fine on 2 other W11.
That was meant just as workaround about easily see the Notes content despite the best way should be Export them as created, with its folders and the numbered order with the first text line visible.
May be there's a Feature Request about.
Or you can Create a new one if interested. -
@Zalex108 Thank you for your explanation. Have modified The QTB according to your suggestions but I still don't see anything in explorer that looks like an additional addition in the interface. I fear QTB will not work for me. Too bad. I try again after the next W11-update. Or I'm doing it wrong.
Your suggestion to make a future request I will certainly take into consideration. In any case, your workaround is already a partial solution. And better a 50% solution than a 0% solution.
Thanks for your willingness to help find a solution. -

Find the Enabler at the Install folder previously Zipped or in the ProgramFiles.
IIRC I've Copy/Pasted from the Zip installer. Then on File Explorer should appear a tab under the Menu.
Right click on the Tab Toolbar. -
Finally got it right after un-installing and re-installing ... Actually very peculiar that everything came up so slow and I have a brand new and powerful PC! Thanks for guiding me through this.
