Bug is already reported, just updated it with these findings.

Is the reply on the report confirmation e-mail enough or is there another way of updating the bug report?

Hang on - this is new

It "suddenly" appeared. I think it might be related to enabling the Workspaces experiment, but I've got it disabled and it still shows...

I don't really use sessions a lot, but this is nice

This is Windows 10 with:

5.8.2936.3 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision 75e576ab412572868a228ef81ffeae7cabab7a77
OS Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.2604)

And I am seeing now what looks like a space or a gap below the tabs (at the top position). Previously the tabs were flush with the main part of the screen with the address bar etc. Now there is probably a 1/4 of the tab height gap below the tabs. Use native window is enabled.

Any way to fix this, is this a settings issue?

It’s not possible to edit the Addressbar-Icons, Statusbar-Icons or any other Toolbar. The Editor for this pops up, but disappears as soon as you want to drag an icon out of a bar.

The tab space under issue I reported on Windows is not an issue on Linux. There the tabs look normal.

Maybe its only me with my Mailaccount, but Vivaldi-Mail is always, continiously and very fast, connecting and reconnecting with this account (what can be tracked and seen in the status bar). Maybe its my Mailaccount doing this, I don’t know. As far as I can say, this was not the case yesterday. —-> continue watching …

Just came to new findings.

It seems that when I have my tabs positioned at the bottom of the screen, the buttons in status bar disappears. If I move the tabs to the top, left, or right of the screen, the buttons in status bar appears as expected.

I've observed this behavior with both a new profile and my current profile.

Can you please check?

Hello - bottom-tabs user here. Yep - that's the cause! My thanks for identifying it...

I presume some hard-coded status bar elements don't expect the tab bar to be in the same area.

VB-95345 "Status bar gets invisible when tab bar at the bottom" - Confirmed.

I, in this picture, have a similar problem with some extensions' popup windows.
The problem shows up on those extensions where there is a transition from the popup to the extension's settings.
For example, in this extension: User JavaScript and CSS.
In previous snapshots there was no such problem.
