@petyanamlt No such problem here. Is the YouTube video maximised? If so, that would hide the PiP button.

The video is in standard mode, on the video itself, at the top, there is no picture-in-picture button, you can only turn it on through the menu
-
@petyanamlt The PiP button only appears on hover.
Please provide a link to the video.
-
@ian-coog: why?
-
-
@petyanamlt Start playing the video and the PiP button should appear.

Does not appear
-
@petyanamlt The button appears for me (see above), but clicking it does nothing.
Please see How to Report a Bug.

@nutcracker
Hi, it is better to open a new thread for such questions/issues.
I would install a second Vivaldi instance as standalone install, at first start close all tabs, then login to sync and delete remote data.
Log out of sync and close this instance.
Backup your default profile folder "Default".
If you start your default install and sync it is nothing on the server, Vivaldi upload your data.
By the way, sync still eat your speed dial icons sometimes if you run Vivaldi on several PC.https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/install-update/standalone-version-of-vivaldi/
Cheers, mib

@ian-coog: why?
Because Windows7/8 users cannot update Vivaldi anymore, and the installer should block Win7/8 users from installing a version that wouldn't run on their OS.
I for example still have one Win7 32 bit PC at work where I can compile and maintain old legacy programs that can't be compiled or run on 64bit windows, and there I should have old 5.6 Vivaldi, forever. -

Works for me 5.7.2921.3 Win 11 22H2.
-
@mib2berlin: thanks! I won't sync since the icon issue still exists. I have 170 icons and I don't intend to jeopardize anything.
-
@nutcracker
I can understand that very well, having also a lot of customized icons.
The developer work on a better solution, I hope for the best.Cheers, mib

@iAN-CooG
That’s ok, however Vivaldi (snapshot) 5.7.2901.3.x64 works in Win 7 as well. -

@Hadden89 This is actually a dead carcass of the Blob sculpin that got taken out of the deep sea, resulting in depressurization and damage to the skin tissue. In their natural habitat, when they are alive, they look more like this.
-
@Zalex108 5.7.2901.3 is still based on Chromium 108.

Interesting! I've seen that same picture(*) of "the blobfish" pop up for maybe a couple of decades now - never knew it was a kind of fake news.
(*) by which I mean the ugly pink slime-drooling picture that Hadden89 posted, not your picture of a live version.
