Youtube Picture-in-Picture window missing
-
Over the past few weeks or so I noticed that whenever I enable picture-in-picture of a video, the window opens, and the video inside the webpage itself goes black (as expected) though the pop-up window is nowhere to be found. It still shows up in the taskbar preview with the video and audio still playing, but I cannot find the pop-up window itself anywhere even if Vivaldi is the only window open.
I tried different screen configurations, disconnecting all external displays, tried to snap the window both with keyboard shortcuts (Windows+Left/Right Arrow) and with Task View menu, but all to no avail.
The picture-in-picture mode of other browsers does work (edge, for example) and without the feature working in Vivaldi hinders greatly upon my ability to watch videos while working on other things.
Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

@tonyzehs Do you run software to use different desktops?
Do you use software or settings in graphics driver which can hide the PiP window?
Do you run any extension for youtube?Strange, your screenshot shows that the Pip window is existing.
If you minimize all apps in Windows taskbar except the PiP do you see the window then? -
@DoctorG Hi, thanks for reaching out!
- I have not used any software to manage my windows and desktops, just with the default Windows Task View button of which I rarely use.
- Not to my knowledge, and the Vivaldi one seems to be the only one that is not currently working while the Edge browser etc. included picure-in picture is working fine for me at the moment.
- The only extensions that may affect Youtube I have installed is "return youtube dislike" and "picture-in-picture for every website." While the latter sounds similar, I am certain the feature I used is the browser's built-in picture-in-picture one and tested in incognito mode where both the plugins are disabled and the issue still persists.
- If I minimize all apps in windows both manually and through the "show desktop" button the window is still nowhere to be found, clicking the icon on the taskbar does not help.
I also tested the both the built-in and the third party "picture-in-picture for every website." plugin and both of them did not work for youtube as well as other video sites. I suspect it is some kind of graphics driver/system permission issue.

Ah never mind, I solved the issue.
It seems to be a win11 issue where connecting and disconnecting the PC to an additional monitor as I usually do might have defaulted the window position to somewhere very weird that I could not find both with and without another display connected, and the windows snap window feature did not work at all.I used Alt+Space+M and used the arrow keys, and the window suddenly snapped into existence to the center of my screen from another reality. Now both the built-in and the third-party picture-in-picture players work without any problems.
