Can't paste images copied to clipboard

Xubuntu 22.04 (xfce ubuntu)
5.3.2679.68 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)
Copy in Vivladi and paste in Vivaldi, broken.
- Right click copy image in Vivaldi.
- Paste in discord open in another tab in Vivaldi.
- Nothing happens.
Copy in Firefox and paste in Vivaldi, broken.
- Right click copy image in Firefox.
- Paste in discord open in a tab in Vivaldi.
- Nothing happens.
Copy in Vivaldi and paste in Firefox, works.
- Right click copy image in Vivaldi.
- Paste in discord open in a tab in Firefox.
- It works
Take a screenshot with Flameshot and paste in Vivaldi, works.
- Take a screenshot with Flameshot and copy to clipboard
- Paste in discord open in a tab in Vivaldi.
- It works.
Since copying in Vivaldi and pasting in Firefox works, I guess it's only pasting that's broken. But for some reason it's able to paste images copied from taking a screenshot.
I installed Vivaldi last night to give it a try and discovered this very important feature is broken today. I copy and paste images daily so hopefully there's some kind of fix or workaround. Please let me know.

@meeseekms I'm working with Linux Mint 20.3, here the insertion in discord in Vivaldi works.

Ah that is strange.
So I just checked and the same thing is happening in plain Chromium as well, so I guess it's probably not that related to Vivaldi itself.
I'll google the issue for chromium and update if I find a solution.
Edit: Still don't know what's going on, but discovered this:
open clipman -> copy image -> try to paste -> doesn't work
-> click the clickman tray icon -> click the copied image (i assume this moves it from history to the clipboard or someth) -> try to paste -> it works lol
Appreciate any ideas.

@meeseekms Also consider that the cause could be a configuration in your operating system. It might make sense to ask in an ubuntu forum as well.
