Vivaldi 5.3.2769.61 (Minor Update 7)

Hi everyone, since I updated to 5.3 I have a problem with Vivaldi. I wanted to wait for the next update, unfortunately after today's update to 5.3.2679.61 the problem is still present. Sometimes the browser literally freezes for 0.5 seconds then works normally for about 5-10 seconds and closes. This happens on different pages but quite rarely, while on Google this happens with 4 out of 5 searches. I tried to clear all browser data but unfortunately it didn't help.

@Ruarí Thanks for fast security update.

Upgraded to this version and now I had to log in to Vivaldi Sync again (no problem) and have been logged out of all the websites where I was logged in before installing the update (annoying). Anyone else seeing the same?
-
@Featureal That never happens unless you install to a different location. Logins are saved in cookies in your profile, and retained if you update from within Vivaldi.
-
@Featureal my presumption: the change of user-agent version number forced some servers to invalidate their cookies, but that depends of server software and website.

Looks like I'm not alone

@ayespy: Thank you for the advice, there is no problem on the fresh profile. Now I just have to find out why this is happening (unfortunately it is not the fault of the extensions).

Thanks for the info @Pesala . Just to be transparent, I used the browser updater i.e. didn't download installer separately and didn't change any installation paths myself .
