And already in the Arch repository

Still flickering sometimes it is also exactly the same with the latest Opera and I found out, that i can fix it with both (Vivaldi and Opera) by turning off the hardware acceleration, but sometimes i need the hardware acceleration, so i guess it is a chromium issue.

Ignore.

@mickdurousseau: Perhaps you need to add an exception for Vivaldi in the nvidia/amd control panel and disable adaptive sync/g-sync. This typically can cause flickering on video playback.
-
Last but not least
-
Thank you, Vivaldi Team !!!

No, no, I forgot to mention, it's not just on videos, it's sometimes on the Speeddial and all internal pages and randomly on any website in the form of white squares and rectangles. And the latest Opera is exactly the same.

Thanks for your hard work!
-
@mickdurousseau In that case, update the GPU drivers.
-
Oops, I was late but my vivaldi is updated
-
@pettern I already did.

Opening new tabs -active or background- from links within tiled stack seems fixed!
(Windows Menu still lists Minimize shortcut on Mac as "M"...)
Panels and the Panel Bar float correctly! (Okay: I can see the sense and utility. )
All this *before I installed 2623.41...
Retrieved my main Mac mini from the shop this afternoon: Having a ball playing with it! New update was worth the effort. (I won't be surprised if I find other fixes... And I don't mind the hunt!)
p.s.: Thanks for letting me keep my RunninGag forum avatar! I now use it on all my installs, to monitor the internal heat of my machine; it's the best early warning system I've ever found!
(The only drawback of that avatar is that I can't use sync for a profile that uses it: My original profile, etc., on Vivaldi.net overrides it, defeating its purpose...)I'll keep it's use for testing purposes and chitchats only...
Shirley, everyone knows it's @OakdaleFTL... Right?
