Show/hide tab bar in individual windows
-
Please make show/hide tab bar in the standard set of keyboard shortcuts (right now to set the shortcut is hidden in settings), but most importantly, make the switch work only in currently active windows, not in all windows.
(e.g. I want to wach video on one screen and I don't need the tab bar there, but I also want to keep working in another window, where I need the tabs)
thx

@malantheon Try Toggle UI (Ctrl F11) or Fullscreen (F11).
I don't agree with setting a default shortcut for toggling the Tab Bar. We already have dozens of posts about people losing the Tabs because they accidentally pressed Ctrl+F11.
However, I do agree that it would be useful for the tab bar setting to be unique to each window, just like Toggle UI and Fullscreen.
Please vote for the existing request: Toggling View: Tab bar / Bookmark bar visibility affects all windows

@pesala thanks for the suggestion, ctrl+f11 actually did the trick for my use case, but still, having tab bar window specific would be more consistent UI than it is currently. I understand your point about the default shortcut being "dangerous"
