So many fixes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2603.6
-
[Media] Browser slows down after long usage following media being played (VB-86756)
Would be really interesting with a bug "post-mortem" about this one
[Themes] Improve contrast and appearance of check boxes and radio buttons (VB-86799)
Not so convinced the new look is such an improvement. But I understand that for some themes it might've been an issue...
-
I don't see it listed in the bug fixes, but the one I reported where the profile appears to log out in the main window after a private window is opened once or twice has apparently been fixed! So, yay for that unsung victory!
Still waiting for volume control on the Picture-in-Picture window, and for dragged desktop shortcuts not to be blocked as "unsafe" by Windows 10.
-
Huzzah! Our patience has been rewarded with a new snapshot!
-
[Mail] Implement setting to render plaintext (VB-25397)
Is the setting available in the UI yet? I don't see it anywhere.
-
I think you accidentally broke "You can pin a tab inside a stack through quick command (VB-29302)"
-
@joeduffus: To be honest, I thought that was just me and I seemingly couldn't figure out how to make the logout happen. Well yay! It is fixed! o/
-
@burnout426 Never mind. I see it.
-
Previews on tab stacks are no longer working when there's one or more pinned tabs.
-
@max06net There is work being done on tabs, stacking, pinning, etc. Next snapshot should have resolutions for these.
-
@ayespy Roger, not opening bug reports then
Any chance you'll rethink about VB-29302? I'm using that a lot
-
What is the purpose of showing privacy statistics on the Start Page? I turned it off already, but who needs this clutter on the Start Page?
-
@pesala If I have to guess: Awareness for all that crap in the internet.
-
Regression: Nasty white flash on startup compared to last snapshot. Still on the fence if I should report it, as must be know (?)
Video: https://ttm.sh/iJj.mp4
Showing what looks suspiciously like a Win7 (unskinned) title bar.
@DoctorG I believe this is what you were referring to?
-
@max06net I won't personally rethink anything, as I don't work for Vivaldi, but I feel you will be satisfied with the result.
-
@ayespy Whoops, getting late here
Alright, let's see what they come up with. They never disappointed so far.
-
Whoa, i need urgent medical assistance ... suddenly i'm having an acute vivid hallucination.
-
@guigirl said in So many fixes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2603.6:
an acute vivid hallucination.
TST everywhere?
-
I don't think this was mentioned, but it seems like some UI elements were given a new coat of paint.
5.1 stable branch

@hlehyaric Thanks for the heads up. I should read (and look at the comments) more carefully next time
