Solved Animated theme backgrounds are not animated
-
As the title, says, the animated backgrounds are not playing. This only happens on my windows desktop. On my Ubuntu laptop, they play as expected. Sometimes, when the theme is first loaded, the animation will play through once, and then after that become static.
Anyone else had this problem?

Well, I'll be darned. Upon rechecking, it appears everything is working fine now. I think what may have happened is that my animation mode was set to "Once", as shown in the screenshot. I changed it to "Loop" a few days ago. Now background animations play correctly.
I'm not 100% sure that's what the problem was, but if you are here because you are experiencing the same thing, check your animation settings in the bottom right corner.

Hello, @tomasagray, and welcome to our community!
It looks like you're the only one experiencing such a problem. Could you post a link to a theme with an animated background (or just the background file) that is not working for you, so that we could test it?

Sometimes I use animated backgrounds (gif) and they works fine in Vivaldi.

@tomasagray Animated Images like GIF & Animated PNG, both work for me as background.
