Extensions randomly stop working

@doctorg The Payback Internet Assistant. Probably lost in the wall of text.
If i click on it to log in, there is a short pop up of a dark window, which immediately disappears agian. -
@lycorvinus I can not test the PIA as i have no account at Payback.
Please wait until an other person can check your issue. -
I guess i have to wait then. Hopefully there is a solution for my little problem.

The extension does work in other chromium browsers, aswell as in firefox.

@Lycorvinus If that happens in a user test profile only with PIA extension installed, then please report as bug to Vivaldi tracker

So far nothing has changed and i have not heared anything back apart from we received your report. Is that normal?

I am just uncertain whether that is normal or not. -

The Team was able to reporduce it and is working on a fix!

Sadly there is still no fix on the latest version (5.1.2567.66). I also have not received any update per mail. Does that mean i should report it again?

@lycorvinus No, there's no need to report it again. Your issue was confirmed and our developers will try to fix it. We don't give any ETA's, as it's hard to predict how long it might take - some issues take days whereas some last for months before we can figure out how to tackle them.
You'll receive an e-mail update once it's fixed.
